It is true. In addition to the straps used to attach the board to the car (under the roof), there are also straps to secure the board to the vehicle.
Although I have not tried yet, I think that it might be a good idea The only travel I intended to do with it was local, not at high speeds.
There is no such thing. I'd like to wish everybody a very happy new year!

When I used it a second time, there was a problem with the safety straps. It broke halfway and apart, so I had to buy new ones. There is no way to do it.
On my bare roof sedan, I used this to carry a paddle board that measured 10'6" long! This is not for high speeds, but for my purposes When we were driving around town to various water spots), it was a great alternative to paying more than $600 While I'll probably need to upgrade at some point as my need to travel grows, it is nice to be able to take some time before spending the money. The setup went smoothly, although I would've liked more guidance on the placement of the pads (based on my research, they should be placed about 8" from the back window and windshield) To get the straps in the least annoying spots inside my car, I had to adjust them inside the car. In any case, they only take about a minute to put on and a few seconds to take I reached my top speed with the board on the car at about 50 mph, and the board did not move. For those who drive locally mostly or who are waiting to invest in a permanent option before investing in this product, it may be a good option.
As a result, it was pushing out the windows since there is no upper door support. It's not in the most durable condition, as the straps are flimsy, and the foam and stitching are also pretty flimsy. When I installed the paddle board, I twisted the straps, but the board still shook. Originally, I planned to use it for my minivan, but since it is so cheap and flimsy, I can't trust it with anything more than a slow side street drive. Next time, I'll get.
Since we didn't want to invest in permanent roof racks, these are a great alternative. They are easy to install and remove from the car. The bags are also convenient for storage, as they fit inside a tidy box. Only complaint is that, being a driver, I accidentally touch the strap on the inside of my head as it crosses inside the body. However, if anyone needs to borrow them, we can make adjustments to them and they are good to use on different cars.
There is no point to them. They were unable to get to the beach on both trips, once in July and again today. The problem is very difficult. Purchase these items at your peril. Regardless, the window closed too quick for a return, but that is lousy no matter what you think of.
I have not tried to speed up yet. There aren't any clasps on the same side of the car as the clasps in the other, but it's fine. Does the job and isn't loud or flappable even if I leave them on the car without anything in.
My plan is to not install racks on my sedan so I can use these. I found these to be ideal for transporting my paddleboard. I find them convenient and easy to install.
I would need a kayak wider than this. My opinion is that this is a good idea A kayak is not suitable for day use, but it might be suitable for day use. There is far too much space between the roof and the ground. It will take a while.
