Adapter for rails that works well

The Scotty rod holder adapter is for mounting on a rail that is shaped differently from the usual Scotty rod holders. A rounded exterior and flat interior rail were no problem for my little aluminum Gregor boat with this part. *Longer screws may be needed for some rails, but the mount stays steady over time as expected from Scotty.

The cost is too high for nothing more than what they are, so you might as well put in the effort. It was well worth the money to buy the right parts to do the job, but after all, it was a $2 piece of hardware.
