Hey there, thanks for your question. They will go around your 2" square bars but they will not cover the bottom. You'll need to put it under the top, side, and back of the table. It is held secure with velcro straps that are long enough to reach the velcro. My sincere thanks go out to you
Only the pads that go over your racks are included here. It is a very nice and heavy duty set.
There is no need to remove the bars if your trailer has them, such as Thule, Yakima, Malone, etc.
In order to wrap my pads around the round Yakima bars that I have, I have used The distance between them is as far as I can get. It is this setup that I use to load both of my kayaks. Turning the boat upside down seems to be how you intend to lay it. If you run your boat over these pads, you will put some wear on them. These pads are pretty heavy duty, but you will put some wear on them if you do that. It doesn't seem like 25" inches will be enough. In addition to the 30" or 36" pads, there are a few that are longer.

On flat crossbars, the shape is iffy. It's a good pad. They perform as they are supposed to. My vibe sea ghost 130 kayak will be padded. If, like me, your crossbars are flat, the pads will not fit as well as they should. While I'm not transporting this kayak, the front pad is always rotating due to the wind resistance, making a mess of things. However, it's perfect for its intended purpose, and I think round crossbars would work best with it.
In the seat pad I can see an arrow pointing upward. I was wondering if it was the kayak I took on the 8 hour drive to the keys.
This works much better than the big, fat foam rubber pads I had before, which spun and moved around as I tried to lift the kayak up on the roof on my own. remain in place while you move the boat to where you want it and the high density foam protects the boat from being scratched by the harder By the way, the red in the Malone lettering is not a bright red as pictured above, but a more subdued, dark red that actually looks pretty decent.
They looked great mounted over the horizontal 2 inch x 2 inch steel bumper hitch attached to a T-slot A Thule roof rack system combined with that bar made for a wonderful over-the-cab storage solution Carrying set for a canoe on a bed - There is just the right amount of cushioning on the gunnel sides of the boat so that they are well cushioned and safe.
I've just bought a second pair of boots Four years after it was purchased, this new one finally broke down this week. A tearing of the fabric finally occurred due to I don't care if they fade over time, as I do not care about that at all. I actually had the paint fade to a light gray that matched my car, so I was happy! There is an oval shape to my crossbars. Despite the fit of the pads, I had to tie black zip ties at both ends to make sure they were very secure. The reason I gave them a four-star rating was because of that.
Kayak is suspended from prongs of this product with help of a hoist in my Kayak sliding is prevented (when preventative measures are taken).
I could fit the product well over the round bars of my Yakima rack and roll trailer.
So far, they haven't faded since I put them on my Subaru Outback crossbars at the beginning of the summer. A wide paddleboard can fit inside the bag because they are long enough and have enough padding.
