Questions & Answers
I was looking for an aftermarket oval bar to match my factory oval bars on my 2010 Highlander. The bars seem to be the same for both years. You won't be disappointed with this rack!
Please let SportRack know if you have any questions. You can use Rack SR1010 with it.
It applies to models made from 1997 to 2001.
A set of paddles is meant for one kayak. There is no guarantee that you will be able to carry two kayaks on your roof depending on the weight of your crossbar and the space available.

You can install them in as little as 10 minutes the first time and then 5 minutes thereafter You aren't fully aware of what you're doing The assembly should be done after the initial use. Having said that, I am very satisfied with the overall outcome In spite of that, although I know the hardware is not stainless steel and I have low expectations of the frames, I found them pretty decent. A powder at the end Steel that has been coated. I'd imagine that these would eventually rust, but honestly, unless you just like to overpay for everything, I cannot imagine why you would spend triple the price of these to get a name-brand item. Racks that display brands. You shouldn't have any problems with these for years to come, unless you kayak constantly.
You can trust them to transport your kayaks well. There is a solidity to them. You can easily adjust the vertical arm to be If you are not using it, you may fold it flat. Attachment of these roof racks is simple they can be attached anywhere on the roof of your car These bolts can be adjusted to fit nearly any roof rack, and different lengths are supplied for various lengths of bolts. The following things are common sense for you to remember You have a high roof on your vehicle Moreover, it is a bit of a stretch to load the kayak, since it is heavy. Additionally, since the kayaks are carried upright, you'll need to be able to reach high enough to flip them past vertical and towards the center of the boat.
This is an easy to mount and solid bar for my Yakima. It's still true. It is extremely easy for an accident to occur when the straps are in place. A strap on one of the boats was half retracted when I loaded them for a 3-hour trip By the time I got to my destination, everything had been torn to pieces. On the return trip, I used an old set of companion straps in place of the companion straps I had discarded.
My kayaks have since been replaced by SportRack kayak carriers, but I only bought one of them last summer. When? Where? Why? Test one before investing in another, this was just a test. As for how it fitted to the SportRack roof rack, it is perfect. It is very solid and secures the kayak as it should without any issues. I just purchased another, for an even better price, but haven't tried it yet because it is still January in Washington state, but I expect it to work the same as the first.
It does everything it says it will. I would buy this product.
It was all so confusing that I did not know what to do. A thule aeroblade setup is required to use this item.
It works well.
It is a good quality product that is easy to install, I am glad I bought it.
