It was amazing how many items were in the package. I was so incredibly surprised at how fast the order arrived. The manufacturers have included everything you need to tie down a kayak in the kit. All you have to do is put it on top of your car, which is the only assembly required. This product is worth the price, two years ago I went the cheaper route and it ended up costing twice as much. It does not fit perfectly with my 2019 Subaru Crosstrek cross bars, but it works fine.

I had no problems assembling the unit. The rubber protector on one of the glasses tore after just one use. It's going to be a bike inner tube instead of rubber protectors for all the wheels. My kayaks are well suited to this product. Only problem is the bolts are too long. When I put the kayaks on they touched my sun roof, so I had to cut them off. I found the installation to be fairly straightforward after figuring out the instructions. In parts of the instructions, the text was not readable and decimal places were not easy to find. We were able to put it together fairly easily once we had that information. Our wrenches were never used and we had to guess where the nylon washers went since we never used them. Other than that, the rack is quite sturdy and easy to use.
