It was a great product, but it needed some adjustments like all universal products do

As such, the product is very well made and does its job well. I had a slight headache with the mounting hardware. So, while it's windy, the plastic screws you use to install the rack on your roof rack will not be able to tighten up. Although the bolts will not fly off the car, they will and can move side to side however, the system comes with standard nuts you should use if you intend to go above 35 mph. The length of the mounting hardware for a low profile roof rack is long compared to the dimensions of the mounting hardware. This is my only complaint other than the plastic nuts which aren't the most secure at lightening speed. In order to reduce paint damage, I had to loosen my roof rack to raise it. Getting a ratcheting 13mm box wrench out after tightening the nut is a bit of a chore. For those with normal roof racks, however, they should be fine, and if you have a low-profile rack like mine, an open box wrench will come in handy or simply cut the bolts at the bottom. But as with any universal system, you adjust it to your own needs to get the most out of it.

A great deal of support for Rattles It's one of my favorite shows Since I am not an expert on hooks, I cannot I used my ratchet straps with regular hooks and felt like it was a much more secure tie down this way. The ropes worked fine for the front and back, but after giving it a try, I found that I didn't like the ratchets so much since the small hooks worked much better in those locations than Then that's the way I like it - Try it - it might work for you Sadly, I didn't get on with it.

Ideally, kayak racks should be good

I like the quality look of this and how sturdy it seems. Unless the kayaks fly off, I will update this as soon as I am able to drive across the country. My favorite thing about this set was that it comes with ratchet straps for extra security as well as front and back cords. Cushions made of foam are thick and comfortable. These are small and excellent quality. In the picture, there are red and black I already had some matching the truck that I already had. There are yellow ones that come with it.

A sturdy and reliable product

A simple installation process I was satisfied with the mounting process as well. My kayaks and I drove 5 hours with kayaks on top of the car with no problems at highway speeds or around Aside from the ratchet straps and stern rope system, what I like about this model is the stern rope system for keeping the bags in place at the front and rear. The price may be a little higher than other brands, but the product is very durable and easy to use.
