Thank you for reaching out to us with your query. These ankle braces cover your ankles and extend a few inches above them because they are ankle braces. They are intended to serve as ankle supports and to aid in the treatment of a variety of ailments.
I'm not a medical doctor, so don't expect me to give you medical advice. So take this with a grain of salt. The brace supports have the texture of an ace bandage that has been well wrapped. It does a good job of isolating the ankle, heel, and arch of the foot. It was necessary because my Achilles heel was strained. It has helped me a lot with my problem. As if it were a sock, pull it in tight. By pulling on the toe, you can remove it.

However, this did not work for me. It's compressive, well-made, and I haven't washed it in a long time. I don't like how compression socks restrict my toes' range of motion, so this sleeve is a plus. This one is all about the ankles. Because it's tall and long enough, and I live in a hot, humid climate, I like the option of not always wearing closed shoes or having to wash my brace all the time, I'm still wearing it under my foot and ankle brace. So yeah, I'm not using this as a brace, just a glorified part sock.
This is excellent. It was a perfect fit. Because I have very thin ankles, finding a tight fit was a challenge for me. They are a little uncomfortable for me, but I am a picky person when it comes to elastic. I enjoyed them so much that I purchased a second set so that I could wash them more frequently. I wash them in my washer on the 15-minute cycle and hang them to dry with regular laundry detergent. So far, they've been washing fine.
My order was delivered on time. It's exactly what it says. The sizing is accurate; I ordered a small and am a size 8. Because it's a little thick, I had to stuff it into my shoes. Aside from that, it appears to be adequate. I don't have any prior ankle supports to compare it to, but it's so far comfortable and tight with compression.
Despite the fact that none of them are perfect, I find that they work well for me. There is a lot of nueropathy. These help to alleviate a lot of the discomfort that has been bothering me.
They're a little thicker than other brands I've tried, but they're still delicious!.
I like how I can wear a sock without my tennis shoe becoming too tight or uncomfortable. It helps to keep the swelling in my shine bone area under control and supports my Achilles tendon.
I'm a size 7 in women's clothing. The medium and 5W were simply too big, but the small is ideal. Varicose veins in my leg cause my ankle to swell. During my workouts, I substitute these for compression socks.
