I'd been waiting to see if it was a one-time occurrence. Simply walking around a supermarket meant stocking up on powerful painkillers while only having a small window of mobility. Anti-inflammatory medications can't be used for long periods of time, so I used the ankle brace and went a whole day without taking any pain relievers for the first time in years; this has been repeated now that I ordered the larger size because I can wear it for longer periods of time - They have a significant impact. This is an excellent product that performs admirably. My daughter suffers from Achilles tendonitis in both ankles, and these braces appear to be somewhat effective. I'll say that the Velcro on the loose straps is the most powerful I've ever seen. The compression socks are snug and comfortable, exactly as they should be. She can't wear them for long periods of time because they hurt, but the right-placed straps help alleviate some of the discomfort. Just make sure you get them for the right reason, and they'll serve you well. I like them, and I especially like the fact that you get TWO pairs for the price of one.
