Hello, br>it is recommended that you measure according to the instructions (2nd photo), as this will ensure that you do not have any sizing issues:
I'd go with an XL, but keep in mind that not all men with large feet also have large ankles. Start with an XL and work your way down to a Large if that doesn't work.
In the heel, there is no gel. For good support, all you need is a sleeve.

Both of my feet suffer from neuropathy. My feet begin to hurt when I lie down to rest, as if they are trapped in a vice that tightens over time, and the pain can last for hours. I can stand and walk around, but the pain will not stop until the torture is over. br>br>I bought these ankle compression sleeves for a different purpose, but after using them for a week, I wanted to see if they could help me sleep without so much pain. br>The answer is that they were meticulous in their work. So the first night I was in excruciating pain, I put these sleeves on and my pain was reduced to a dull ache almost immediately. I wore them the rest of the week before going to bed, and they were very effective in keeping the "vice crushing pain" at bay for the entire night. A dull ache persists, but it is nothing compared to the initial discomfort. So, if you have neuropathy and your feet hurt while you sleep, give these a try. They do a fantastic job.
Sizing should be done with the help of a guide. The finished product is exactly what I was looking for. I'm a 5'7" 120 pound female with a muscular physique. I am a size 9 woman. I ordered a medium in a size 5, and it fits perfectly. Small would've been a little too confining. I was hoping the medium would be snug enough, but it's perfect! My ankle needs more support at the bottom, and I'm able to fold it over, which means it sticks out less in my shoe.
For several months, I've been suffering from severe plantar fasciitis and achilles tendonitis. I've gone to physical therapy and tried a variety of treatments to help me get better. Every day, I ice and stretch it, and at night, I put it in a splint. Nothing has been of any assistance. br>br>I've had these compression sleeves on for about a week now. I'm not sure if they're helping yet, but they're very comfortable to wear. I work in an environment that requires me to be on my feet all day, and I also walk a fast five or six miles every day. So my poor feet get a lot of abuse and are in excruciating pain almost all of the time. br>br>For the first time since developing fasciitis, I realized at the end of the day that I didn't have any pain. I'm not sure if it's because of the compression sleeves, but I'm going to keep using them and hoping for the best. br>br>The sizing is perfect, and the fit is very comfortable and soothing. It's a lovely gentle firm squeeze on the painful areas of my foot, providing wonderful support exactly where I need it. They are comfortable to wear all day, except when I try to wear them over my socks for some reason. Everything is fine if I put them on over my socks.
I bought these to use while horseback riding because I've sprained both ankles in the past. I considered getting something more expensive for a while, but I decided to give these a try instead. These appear to be excellent value for money. I was worried that the band would ride under the ball of my foot, where the stirrup would go, but it didn't. They appear to be well-made, and the level of support appears to be just right for my requirements. I was surprised at how much the arch support helped my problems as well, as I had expected the ankle support to be the only thing that helped. They were comfortable to wear under my socks. They do take up more space in the boots, but that was something I needed anyway. They're fantastic, and I'm very happy with them. Hopefully, they'll be able to withstand the test of time. They appear to be planning to do so.
Tendonitis in my Achilles was a problem for me. During my tennis game, I needed some foot support. I'm a 7-year-old girl. I'm a size 5 and my ankle is right in the middle of a small and medium. I ordered a small and it was just right. Snug, but not so tight that circulation was hampered. The item appears to be in good condition. made. I was able to play without any discomfort thanks to the sock. It isn't a cure, but it does assist in the recovery of the injury by providing support. After the item arrived, the customer service was excellent. Delivery was very quick. This product has only positive aspects to it.
It is smooth and comfortable and does not roll. I wear one on my right ankle for anywhere from two to twenty-four hours a day, and I'm very happy with it.
My ankles needed compression, so I brought them with me. Because I wasn't sure what size to order, I went with a large because I wear a size 9w shoe. br>The long stockings did not reduce the swelling in my ankle as much as they should have, and they did not need to compress my entire leg. br>I wear them before going to bed and remove them after about 5 hours because they leave an imprint above my ankle. For the rest of the day, the swelling has subsided, and I'm sitting in front of the TV in the evening. I'm not sure why swelling occurs only during the summer months. I'm glad I found out about it at that time.
These were recommended to me by a friend, so I purchased them. They have the same chronic illness as I do and said these appeared to be a cost-effective way to relieve pain. They were absolutely correct! These are a great value for the money. You do get a pair for that price; I used a fabric tape measurer to measure according to the company's instructions, and the fit is perfect; they help with my chronic heel and ankle pain. I would highly recommend these, and I intend to purchase the other knee and elbow braces as well.
