My four-year-old is a size ten shoe wearer. These are a little too big for him, but I like how I can cinch them up and make them work. I like that they came in a set of two. I'm tired of looking for the perfect pair, and I know my child's feet will continue to grow. My little one has restless legs, and his feet hurt at night, so we're using these as compression'socks. ' The podiatrist suggested compression socks, which are preferable to wrapping his feet in tape every night. I appreciate how simple it is for my son to remove these. Even though it's only been a week, the Velcro appears to be extremely durable.
I purchased a "S 12-" size. "US-" is written on the package I received. My daughter is only 5" tall, so this isn't going to fit her. Wraps appear to be fine, but you can only tighten the strap around the ankle bone, not the part that goes around the foot. I don't think they'd be enough.
These are what I found, and they're fantastic! She won't be whining about her sore ankles after her basketball games anymore. She is 11 years old and has been wearing them for two seasons. It was well worth the purchase, and at a reasonable price.
My 8-year-old's ankle was sprained, and this was ideal. It was a little difficult at times to remember how to put it on, but it worked out well in the end.
My daughter is a gymnast, which means she puts a lot of strain on her body. These have been helpful in supporting her ankles on the floor, and she enjoys wearing them.
Without driving across county/city lines, we were unable to locate the child/toddler brace in our local stores (drug or large stores). The ones in the stores were for people who were a little bigger. As a small child, the brace was a godsend, and it has greatly aided him. Perfect!.
I searched the entire internet for something similar. My special needs son's ankles are stabilized by this product. His physical therapist inquired about the source of my shoes. She continued to apply kenetic tape on a weekly basis, which was painful and difficult to remove.
These were purchased for my son, who absolutely adores them. They're super simple to put on, which is great when we're in a rush. He maintains his equilibrium with these.
