The adhesive properties of this tape are excellent. It adheres to the skin but does not cling to it; It also peels away from the skin without causing harm. It's being used to tape my lips shut while I learn to breathe through my nose at night (as recommended in the book "Breath"); It is extremely comfortable and functional, and it has eliminated my snoring.
According to one independent website, if you wanted a tape that didn't leave any residue, these were the way to go. I use tape as a "bra" for dresses and tank tops that can't be worn with a regular bra, and it works great—it sticks to my skin well, even with moisturizer on, and stays in place for hours. It doesn't stick well to itself, so make sure a portion of the tape is on the skin when you overlap. There is no residue, and peeling slowly does not pull the skin. There are two important points to remember: I wish it was wider, and if you're looking for something you can rip with your fingers, this isn't it. Scissors will be required for cutting.
When I sleep with my cpap mask on, I use this tape to keep my mouth shut.
I use a HRT estrogen patch that requires tape to keep it in place while showering or sweating. Some tapes irritate my skin severely, while others peel off at the first sign of irritation. This tape, on the other hand, hasn't moved and isn't irritating my skin. From now on, I'm only going to use this!.
I needed woven cloth tape to re-tape a window. My puppy's broken toe splint was bandaged. I bought 6 rolls of this tape because I didn't read past the word "Cloth" in the description. When I first opened the package, I was disappointed to see that it contained the same difficult-to-use bandage tape that I had tossed out after failing to make it work for the pup's paw. br>br>This tape works best if you can wrap it around itself several times and don't need it to conform to complex curves like a puppy's front paw. It has little to no stretch, which makes it ideal for binding applications such as wrapping a pad around your forearm, but it dislikes going around curves and will gap and crease if forced to flex over a joint. br>br>It also frays easily at the edges, leaving long stick threads that keep a small dog occupied for hours. It's now time for the E- collar (also known as the "cone of shame") once more. br>br>As a substitute, I suggest using athletic tape or hockey tape. This is a woven cotton cloth with a strong adhesive that can conform to curves and stick to surfaces other than its own. Best of all (i. e. Elastikon tape, which is woven elastic cloth and the type used by the vet, is the most expensive. Before ordering the Durapore, I couldn't find the elastikon. Elastikon, on the other hand, would be less suitable for applications that do not require stretch, such as splinting a long-term injury. A bone fracture (in the arm or leg) is a type of fracture that occurs when a.
I'm prone to infections because I'm diabetic. For me, even minor scrapes or abrasions can become dangerous. This brand of cloth tape is one that I like to keep on hand in case of an emergency. I was pleasantly surprised by the low cost!.
This stuff sticks to itself extremely well (as in when wrapped around a limb and doubled up), but it won't stick to cohesive bandages worth a damn. It is very easy to work with and does not easily tear.
Now I'm stuck with six rolls that I won't be able to use. For my oxygen cannulas, the tape's adhesion is too sticky. Plus, as a disabled senior citizen, cutting the tape with scissors is difficult for me. Minus Seven is a seller who I do not recommend. Furthermore, the tape adheres to the cannulas, causing gummy residue.
