I was previously using the 4" wide, which worked well but left me wanting more coverage. There are no perforations in the 4" wide piece, so it will not tear. It was enjoyable to read. I decided to order the 6" because I was using two strips and felt like I was wasting money. This wasn't even close to being as good as the previous one. By the way, the same company produces both tapes. It's great that there's no need to remove the backing before using it. It is, however, nothing more than a series of continuous rows of cloth tape. Each row is perforated to make it easy to tear off. In theory, everything appears to be in order. It started tearing on the perforation rows as I moved around during the day because I was wearing it on my stomach. To keep the separation on the wound, I'd have to apply another row of tape over it. I wish it had a backing that could be peeled off but no perforations, like the 4" version. I'm reverting to the number four. ".
Most adhesives, tapes, and latex cause severe allergic reactions in me. When I had emergency abdominal surgery, I came home with hives and blisters all over my stomach, one top of the 6" stapled incision line. This tape is fantastic; it's easy to tear, and I only need one long piece to secure the protective gauze. Thankfully, my skin was not left with any residue or irritation.
This was used on my wound after surgery by the hospital, and I really liked it. I brought any leftovers from my hospital room home with me. Using this, I was able to quickly and easily change my clothing. I'd suggest it. *Note: I didn't expect the roll to be so large. As a result, you are getting a good deal.
If you need surgical tape that sticks, this product is ideal. It's also perforated, making working with it a breeze.
Skin is not irritated when using this product. I appreciated how widely the tape was available. It's a powerful, non-toxic substance. It's obnoxious, but it's divided. This is something that I would have preferred to be left out. Aside from that, I really like it! In the future, I'll place another order.
This is the most useful tape/dressing you'll ever have in your medicine cabinet. It is breathable, adheres well but does not irritate the skin when removed, and is perforated for easy removal. This roll will last a long time, and I like that it comes in a variety of sizes, as well as being hypoallergenic.
I'd been looking for something like this for a long time because I've had some foot injuries and this product has helped keep my gauze pads in place where other products would slip and slide. It's also very affordable and worth every penny I paid for it.
My son's skin became red and irritated after only a few days of use.
