Things don't like to stick to my skin, and I've tried a lot of different kinds and brands of tape, and this is by far the best! I primarily use this tape to keep Lidocaine Patches in place on my back. But I've also used it to stick nicotine patches, bandaids, and gauze to my body, as well as for other household tasks. When applying tape to my body, I need to apply pressure to the tape once it's in place. When I tape a nicotine patch to my upper arm, for example, I lean against a wall for a few minutes, and the patches stay on for 24 hours without a hitch! If you're careful, it can even withstand a shower. It is not, however, water resistant. br>br>There is one caveat, though: the dispensers do not work well with 3" wide tape. Pulling the tape off the roll requires a lot of force, especially as the roll size decreases. This necessitates pressing down on the dispenser's sides, effectively squeezing the tape between the dispenser's ends and making it impossible to remove any more tape from the roll. br>br>I was not compensated or given a promotion in exchange for writing this review!.
The tape adheres well to the skin and does not cause irritation. However, peeling tape off the dispenser was difficult, and once the tape tears, it's difficult to keep it from tearing into strips of various widths, resulting in a lot of waste. The plastic dispenser is flimsy, making it difficult to tear tape off the roll.
Surprisingly, I don't have a bad reaction to this; it's just itchy. That's a whole lot better than having hives and being extremely irritated! I simply cut a gauze pad to the appropriate size and taped it in place. It's a lot easier than trying to bandage cuts and scrapes in an awkward manner.
This is especially useful for those with sensitive skin who must use tape on a daily basis. It holds up well, doesn't shred, and it's simple to get and tear the length you need without wasting tape. This is something I would recommend to anyone with sensitive skin, whether they have it or not. You're not going to be let down.
My foot was taped by the doctor with this width of paper tape. I could only find it on Amazon. Thank you for stocking it on Amazon!.
I had to change my dressing every day because it peels off quickly if it doesn't sit on your skin for a long time. Fortunately, I didn't have to use this tape for very long before I was able to change my dressing.
It was an excellent tape that outperformed all others, but I believe it was chemically too strong for my delicate skin.
I had surgery to remove the cancer from my body, and I had to take care of my wounds while recovering. This tape worked best for covering the dressings and keeping them firmly in place on my skin. I had been using the hospital tape, but when that ran out, I had a hard time finding tape that would stick and stay in place without irritating my skin. This worked beautifully, and I'm confident I'll use it again after my next surgery.
