I'm 168 pounds, and I float up to my neck when I sit in the water. It's just the right size and buoyancy for children. It's the same size as the one I used in swim lessons. I've had them for a few years now and have had no regrets.
This kick board is 14 inches wide, Sloane. 5" long by ten inches wide.br>Roy

Children's size, ideal for people weighing less than 100 pounds. Don't listen to those who gave this item a bad review because it didn't float their fat asses because it didn't work as a flotation device; it wasn't designed to do so. It's a kick board that you can use to practice your various swim kicks. It's small, so it's best for kids and those who aren't over 100 pounds. I'm about 120 pounds. I'm 200 pounds and it's fine for me because I'm not expecting it to float me. A KICK BOARD IS EXACTLY WHAT IT SAYS IT IS.
My almost four-year-old, 40-pound toddler fits perfectly. His torso is perfectly proportioned in size; My son is most likely 42 years old. Based on his most recent measurement a few months ago, I'm guessing he's 44 inches. We bought it for him to practice his kicks since he is only beginning to learn to swim. When I first opened it, it smelled like a giant flip flop (is it strange that I liked that smell?). ) but the smell isn't as strong after the first use in the pool. This is not a game for adults. It was exactly what we had hoped for.
Although it is smaller than an adult board, it fits easily into my bag and is still sturdy enough for me. Though I should point out that I am a petite woman.
They're made of high-density material and are extremely durable. It is not flimsy and will not crack or bend. It's the right size for my four and six-year-olds, and it'd probably work for ten-year-olds as well. I would strongly suggest it.
These kickboards were purchased to aid my children in their swimming lessons. They're strong, light, and long-lasting. After they began swim lessons this summer, we used them to practice in the pool frequently. These are ideal for kicking practice in the pool. My children are 6 (45 lbs) and 8 (67 lbs) years old, and these fit them both perfectly.
It's a small kickboard that does exactly what a kickboard should. It isn't too buoyant to cause problems with body positioning. The four stars are due to the fact that a name requires a white print on both sides. The kids can easily mix up the kick boards because they all look the same.
It just wasn't enough to keep her afloat while she tried to learn how to kick. Simply purchase the standard size.
This is an excellent kickboard for learning how to swim kicks. br>Because it is smaller, it is intended for children. br>It's well-made, reasonably priced, and appears to be quite durable.
