My son is six years old, and he wears a true size six or seven in both tops and bottoms. The Small was our first purchase. And it felt too right, riding up on his chest like he was about to jump into the water. I bought a Medium and it fits perfectly; I'd say the Small is 3-inch too small. Medium would be for 6-year-olds and 5 years old would be for 5-year-olds. a child of eight years old As if they were their age's size, if that makes any sense.

There is no label from the United States Customs and Border Protection (USCG). If my child wore this on the boat, I'd be fined. I was back on the spot.
It keeps my daughter afloat and appears to provide her with a reasonable level of comfort. However, after only about 5 hours of use, both shoulder seams and the back handle have come undone. After only two uses, I shouldn't have to repair it.
They are also easy to move around in. And we parents aren't nearly as nervous as the children, who are free to explore the river without being tethered to an adult. You will not be dissatisfied with your purchase.

Although the fit and style are excellent, the quality is suspect. After the second use, the seam began to come apart, so I'm getting a replacement. If the next one is of higher quality, I will update my rating.
The item arrived in a reasonable amount of time and was exactly as described in both the description and the photo. My 7-year-old found it simple to adjust and strap on. It was a perfect match.
