Swim Research's pull buoys are made of closed-cell EVA foam, imported from Malaysia and manufactured there. In the United States, we design and manufacture all of our products.

When it comes to ordering, how do you determine what size you need?

a youth size since I have a small frame standing at 5'2" and weighing 120 lbs. My first experience with one has been in the 1960s, so I'm not sure how well it fits me. It keeps slipping away from me, so I think if I were to order another one, I would order a larger size.

They are perfect for the job. Swim training sessions can be conducted in open water using them. I'm satisfied with how stable they are and how well they float. As long as they don't lose shape, they are fine.

Exactly what I was looking for for my 8-year-old With this buoy, she seems to be able to get the smaller size she needed. My opinion is that it is made from tough grade material.
