Questions & Answers

Is there a large and small end to this? Thank you, but the dimensions listed below do not appear to be correct. ?

Yes, one end is narrower than the other. This design appeals to me far more than the previous version.

Why isn't this available in a female-friendly version of Speedo?

I'm not sure why Amazon chose the name "Men's" Team Pull Buoy for it. The item appears to be gender-neutral on Speedo's website. neutral. A Team Pull Buoy is what it's called. It comes in two sizes: standard and junior.

Is your body able to rotate as a result of this?

Yes, you'll be able to rotate your body while doing so.

Could it be used to help with backstroke technique?

Yes, using a pull float can help you improve your breaststroke. I'd look up some exercises you can do with a pull float in the water.

Speedo Buoy is a nautical term that refers to a buoy that is Because I had foot surgery recently, kicking in the pool was going to be a challenge
5/5

I decided to use the buoy to keep my tail end afloat while removing my legs entirely from the equation. I must admit that I was blown away. It fits comfortably between the legs, is very buoyant, is simple to adjust to, and allowed me to swim without my legs. I was able to improve my rotation, form, and stroke as well. This is an essential tool for triathlon swimmers, those who have recently had surgery, and everyone else.

The shape is important, but the instructions should probably be ignored
5/5

This model suits me far better than other (symmetrical) models because of its asymmetrical shape. However, the instructions appear to state that the thick side should be on top (I assume this refers to when your belly is facing down, i. e. backstroke is not allowed). With a symmetrical shape, I've discovered that it's all too easy to "lose" it during a swim, forcing you to stop and flounder around in order to recover. In an attempt to avoid this, I tire out my thigh muscles by squeezing the float to keep my grip. My legs are buoyed up from below with the thick side down, and the float does not pop up when my contact is lost.

It is exactly what it claims to be
5/5

I decided to take up swimming after breaking my foot and used it as a way to learn without having to kick. I was worried that I was cheating in some way and would never be able to swim properly. This is something I've been using for months. It really paid off because I developed a lot of upper body strength and coordination. It was so simple to put the rest of my freestyle together once I was finally allowed to use my feet. I'm not sure how else I could've learned. br>br>Even though I'm only a beginner, I can see why this is such an important tool for any swimmer of any skill level. I haven't tried any other brands, but I can say that it has held up well after a few months of daily chlorine and sunshine.

Lower back pain is a result of this
3/5

When swimming, this product is useful because it provides buoyancy to sagging legs. EXTENSIVE USE, ON THE OTHER HAND, WILL RESULT IN MAJOR BACK PAIN. You should be aware of this. The spine's natural posture will be disrupted, resulting in excruciating pain and discomfort.

Pick up for your training session
5/5

Pull Bouys are a great way to get some exercise. If you've never used one before, you lock these between your legs and swim with your arms. The pull bouy keeps your legs afloat and steady, allowing you to get the most out of your arm workout. Like some other products, I don't see a leisure purpose for these, but if you pair this tool with training paddles, you can definitely strengthen your arms while swimming. If you're serious about swimming training, I recommend getting one of these.

This is a crucial addition to pool training
5/5

I've never been a big swimmer, but I've been having shoulder and back problems and needed a way to strengthen them without using weights. My swimming routine was struggling for a few weeks until I discovered this device, which allows me to focus on proper form to avoid aggravating my back, and because I can't use my legs, my upper back and chest get a better workout. It's only been a few weeks, but I've noticed a significant increase in my strength, and my pain has almost completely disappeared. br>br>As an added bonus, I've discovered that leaning against the wall with one hand on the wall and the other on this device allows me to stretch in a variety of ways, which has improved my flexibility significantly. This is something I wish I'd known about years ago.

Decent
5/5

The large buoy in front of you should be used - You'll be able to float and glide through the water more easily if you let your arms do all of the work. I've seen a lot of swimmers do it the wrong way around, which is absurd. Swimming should be done with the large end of the buoy facing down.

I have a bad knee, so this isn't an option for me
3/5

I bought it to be able to swim laps with just my arms because I have a bad knee and it doesn't seem to work right; it hurts to use it because it causes my bottom to rise above water level and arches my back too much, causing discomfort; I bought it to be able to swim laps with just my arms because it causes my bottom to rise above water level and causes discomfort; I bought it to be able to swim laps with just my arms because it causes my back to arch too much.
