The one I got was green and red, just like the picture. The vest I ordered is not the same as this one. What's more, it's effective.
My four-year-old daughter is 43, and it fit her perfectly, but he might be better off with a life jacket. That's what I got for my daughter to try, and she likes it better than this.
I would never do it.
Customer service at Amazon can be reached by email. They're incredible people who should be able to assist you. I would suggest simply ordering a different Coast Guard-approved product.

This is not a true personal floatation device!! This kids "swim life jacket" isn't UL listed or certified/tested by the US Coast Guard; I ordered it thinking it was a genuine kids floatation device, but it's not, and there's no way I'd put my kids in it. We discarded it. (The lack of UL Listing/Coast Guard Certification can be seen in the photo. ).
This says it's good for 20 lb in the description, but the JACKET SAYS 30 LB. We love these and think they're perfect for new little swimmers. The animals are a big hit with our kids.
The kids didn't care for the life vests, but these are more comfortable and don't ride up. Plus, they work, so I made sure to let them go, which turned them around.
This is comparable to all of the other "puddle jumpers" I've purchased for the kids who enjoy swimming in my pool, but I haven't found any that are specifically designed for children weighing less than 50 pounds. By the time they reach 50 pounds, they usually don't require these, but some aren't as good swimmers. At least for my grandson, the fact that it is straight across the front is preferable to those that are curved. Overall, I believe it is a good product at a reasonable price.
As long as he was facing the water, it was perfect. The back, on the other hand, does not float. As a result, if he rolled over, he was effectively pushed down and unable to stand up. But he was never left alone, so this wasn't a logistical issue - On the other hand, the float did its job safely and effectively on the correct side.
Because it works so well, we bought it for our four-year-old, but since he already knows how to swim (thanks to lessons), we decided to give our two-year-old a try. It's just right for him!.
My son, who is two years old, was the recipient of this purchase. This puddle jumper is fantastic. It's a cute design, and he can still move around in it. I appreciate not having to carry him around because he enjoys the pool. He's doing a fantastic job here! I would strongly suggest it. Also amazing is the phone case. My iPhone 11 is perfectly sized to fit in there!.
My toddler loves it! It could have been a little tighter, but it still worked well. My kids are both extremely skinny, so finding something that works for us is nearly impossible. We've had four so far, and this is the only one that has worked moderately well.
