The presence of shoes is less apparent. Attaching a stuffed dog to my foot also gives the impression that I'm being attacked, and no one will notice the tattoo.
This tape isn't stretchy in any way. It's just plain old athletic tape.
Yes, it's the same as any roll of scotch or duck tape. Find the far edge and take off!
I like this tape; I notice that most white tape holds up a little better than this, but I prefer the color to hide my ankle when I'm wearing black dress pants. However, it resembles the white in appearance.
Selected User Reviews For Mueller Athletic Tape, 1.5" x 10yd Roll, Black, 6 Pack
I've been taping ankles, fingers, and feet for most of my life, and I'm 55 years old and have played organized sports since I can remember. I still work out or participate in sports five days a week at the very least. My Hallux Limitus, also known as "Turf Toe," is a chronic condition. My big toe's range of motion is immobilized with sports tape. Because this tape is so brittle, it tears easily, defeating the purpose of taping my toe in the first place. Only when I triple layer the strips do I use this tape! So a roll of tape that would normally yield about 10 tapings only yields about 5 to 6 with this brand, and the glue doesn't leave any residue on your skin, but that's only because the tape has so little glue on it! So, despite the fact that I easily solve the tape ripping problem by overtapping, the tape comes undone due to sweat! If you're looking for a dependable sport tape, look elsewhere.
When compared to standard white athletic tape, this does indeed leave a black residue on the skin (as mentioned in previous reviews). In general, athletic tape serves its purpose. However, I noticed that this tape is thinner than Franklin's standard white athletic tape. I've also noticed that this tape sticks better when you're wrapping it up (as opposed to other brands, which curl and unravel - This is normal when wrapping limbs that are constantly moving). I've found that overlapping a wrist band over wrapped wrists or immediately wearing a sock over wrapped ankle is the best alternative. Both the Mueller and the Franklin brands have proven to be successful. I intend to keep using it.
I despise this product because tearing the required pieces is extremely difficult. When it tears, it usually tears a string in the process. It has a poor adhesion. br> To keep myself from falling off, I had to use First Aid tape.
Wrapping body parts and handles with this tape is a breeze. The sticky isn't particularly strong, but it's adequate for keeping it in place unless it's being pushed around. I use this instead of bandaids because the black color prevents it from becoming dirty as quickly as white bandaids.
Unless it's extremely hot and humid, it'll stay put and won't leave a sticky residue. Unlike some sports tapes, this tape will not rip away from your skin when removed. It's not going anywhere. It's great for wrapping a lyra or trapeze bar, and it's also great for wrist wraps for aerial double acts. EDIT: It will stick to the circus equipment and leave a sticky residue on your hands in hot and humid weather. This summer has been unusually hot and humid.
This tape is of excellent quality. My two sons are tight ends and centers. My daughter is a varsity football tight end, and this tape supports her movements and does not come undone during practices or games!.
It leaves a sticky residue on your skin after use, and the color tape you're using colors it. It can be inconvenient to have to wash and rub residuals off every time you use something. I made the error of purchasing a six-pack of cigarettes. pack. Before purchasing more, I would suggest purchasing one roll to see if you are satisfied with the results. br>Thinner tape than I've used before, but it can be wound around more times to achieve the stiffness and support I'm looking for.
No, it's not a bad product; I use medical tape to tape my ankles for sports on a regular basis, so I've tried a few different brands. The fiber was strong with this brand, but I didn't think the adhesive had the same "Tackiness" as other tapes I've tried, and I could feel it slipping from my skin by the end of the game. Having said that, for the price, it's a fantastic deal.
