This spray adhesive base for tape is AMAZING! My k tape, including the ends, lasts a lot longer because of it. br>br>I had some tape on for 5 days and walked through sand on a beach once, walked in a lake once, and bathed three times. Because I didn't let the tape dry completely before putting my shoes on, I finally had to remove it. Then I went for another walk in the sand. Sand got under the tape's edges and started rolling down the ends. I could have gotten away with just wearing the tape if I hadn't been so It would have lasted the rest of my trip if I hadn't walked through the sand. This spray will change your life! br>br>I've had this tape on my feet for seven days and it hasn't moved an inch. I haven't walked in sand, but I have worn socks, so the ends are frayed. footwear, I've gone for several barefoot walks outside. I also used the spray the first day. We went hiking with a tape on our backs. I've taken a bath as well. It isn't going anywhere. This spray has made me very happy. br>br> It extends the life of my k tape by several days. Because the thicker strips are more durable, it will last even longer for someone who does not have to cut the tape into thin strips like I do for lymphedema. My PTs are: br>br> The black Kinesio tape, according to doctors, stays the best on areas with curves. Keeping the tape on is more difficult. My swelling has been greatly reduced thanks to this spray and the black Kinesio tape. br>br>The spray should be used with caution because it can cause irritation. will stick to other things as well (lint, socks, carpet if you're sitting on your taped feet like I do occasionally), so use plenty but don't overdo it. If you're going to spray it on your body, be cautious of the surface you're spraying it on. If you're going to get the spray on the floor, furniture, or other surfaces, you might want to put a towel under your foot or something similar. br>br>How to use it: br>br>Spray it on, wait for it to dry (it will feel tacky but not wet), then stick the tape on top. You're free to go now. according to the instructions on the bottle br>br>To remove the remaining spray from my feet, I use regular soap and water. After the soap, you can also give it a once-over. I don't think it's necessary to mix water and rubbing alcohol. br>br>I'm going to buy it again.
Short-haired dogs benefit greatly from this treatment. I have a dog who has a bad knee injury, and until I discovered this, getting tape to stick to her was a joke. I ONLY USE IT ON HAIRED AREAS, and the tape I use already adheres to bare skin very well.
This keeps my KT tape in place under my pants and other clothing during the day, which is great because I have arthritis in my knees and hate it when my tape pills up. If you overspray – which you almost certainly will – simply scrub the skin areas that aren't taped with alcohol. This is something I've used in both college and high school, and it's fantastic.
It adheres to the surface extremely well. If it came with a narrower spray option, that would be ideal- It sprays all over the place unless you hold it up to your face. But once it's on, there's no getting rid of it. It holds its shape well even in water, lakes, and showers.
Dislike, if you don't keep the cover on the spray top, the little stem breaks off easily if it's tossed around in a baseball bag, for example. br>br>Perhaps they can come up with a new type of spray tip that doesn't have the little stem that can break off. br>br>Aside from that, the product is fantastic; I use it to keep my Quadricep Sleeves from slipping by spraying them before putting them on for Softball/Sports.
First and foremost, shouldn't KT Tape be able to stay on its own? That said, we're in Florida, and it's hot and humid, so we sweat. The KT tape lasts for about 15 minutes on its own. After showering and cleaning the area with alcohol, let it dry completely for 20 minutes. Spray was applied and left to dry and tacky for about 20 minutes before KT tape was applied. On the knee application, it lasted about an hour before peeling off.
Stinky, sweaty teenagers and those don't mix well. BUY IT I sprayed this on and it stayed on even when I was doing a lot of exercise.
She sprayed it directly on her skin to show me how it's applied while I stood there watching. She said it works better than any other she's tried. She stated that she would strongly advise others to do so.
