Questions & Answers

Is it safe to use on the skin directly?

It's safe to use on the skin directly. It's made to cling to itself rather than to skin or hair. Some people prefer to work with a pre-made template. Wrap underneath the tape if desired, but this is purely a matter of taste.

Plantar fasciitis necessitates the use of heel tape. Is it possible to accomplish that with this?

No way. I've never seen such a small amount of sticky tape. In dry conditions, it didn't even stick to itself for an 8-hour work day.

How wide does this athletic tape measure?

1. Minimum requirements: 5in. X 10yds. Metric: 8cm. X 9. 14m. This tape serves its purpose admirably.

Is it able to withstand water?

It can withstand water.

I wish there was a way for me to give it a lower rating than zero
3/5

If you want to waste money and have a lot of it, this tape is for you. It has to have the worst adhesive ever made on it. After this role began to unravel, I went to my local supermarket and purchased a roll of sports tape. It will not stay taped and will undo itself. I also double-checked that the surface was free of debris. I spent $4 on this role and the colored ones are $6 at my grocery store, where I paid $2 for a new role that works perfectly. Unless you have money to burn, I hope my review has helped someone save money.

It's a tad better than using toilet paper for wrapping
3/5

I've never used a tape like this before. Scotch tape covered in lint had less adhesion than this. It sticks to itself fairly well, but not to skin. I had a lot of trouble getting the initial tape bind going. Just to keep the supporting piece in place, I had to use four times as much. Furthermore, this roll costs nearly twice as much as the far superior product.

This tape is excellent for rehab
5/5

I'm a 27-year-old woman with a weight of 140 pounds. As a result, I am not a sportsperson. I don't participate in sports or do anything other than basic exercises, but I do walk a lot. 11 miles per day is not uncommon. I've had foot problems for as long as I can remember; when I step, my arch collapses, and I rotate my right foot a little too much, causing my toes to point inward, causing ankle pain. I saw a specialist, and my podiatrist basically just handed me insoles. br>br>I've been focusing on improving the strength of my arches and ankles. plus, working on full-body function and alignment (correcting uneven hips, determining if I have a pelvic tilt, strengthening my back so my shoulders don't hunch forward, etc. )- For what I use it for, this tape has been a godsend. When I'm at home, I do foot and ankle strengthening exercises and tape up my ankle so my muscles get used to not rotating in the wrong direction. When I'm out and about, I usually wear stretchy arch and ankle support sleeves, but if I need more support, I wear the tape outside as well. br>The tape adheres to the skin well enough to begin the taping pattern, but not so well that removing it causes pain. It sticks to itself nicely, but if I don't lay it correctly or if I'm doing a lot of activity, it may unstick a little. It's nothing that a few inches of extra tape or ripping off the loose section won't fix. It's easy for me to tear it with my hands, and I don't need a scissor. br>The fact that it is so comfortable is my favorite part about it. Oh, the horror. When I tried to use the stretchy bandages, they would cut off my circulation. This keeps my ankle stable while allowing blood to flow to my toes. The best thing about it is that I can wear it with socks and shoes. I have to be careful not to bunch up the tape when I put the sock on, but once it's on, I can easily slip my foot into my sneaker or boot. br>br>I'm not sure how well this would hold up against actual athletes using it as hand tape when boxing or something. However, if you only need to stabilize a body part, this is an excellent tape to use.

It's tough, but it won't stick
3/5

When working out with a bar (i. e. CrossFit), I use this tape on my thumbs. Cleans and e movements). The tape is strong enough to not wear through, but it loses its grip once I start sweating. That, I assume, is why there are so many high-priced gadgets. There are a lot of bang tapes on the market. They are costly because they are effective. Maybe this tape wasn't meant to be used the way I'm doing it.

It's not going to stick
3/5

I bought it because it was the cheapest and I was eligible for Amazon's free shipping. I should have read the reviews first and bought a slightly more expensive pack. It's very thin and normally splits or tears off, but there's very little adhesive on it. I used this to wrap a handle, and because the tape does not stick to itself, I wrapped floss around the end of the tape. This is a good way to save a couple of dollars if you have something going over the tape to keep it in place. I'm just a little bit disappointed in myself for buying it.

Easy to tear, good support, color runs: I liked the pack I ordered and would order it again if it weren't for the color run
4/5

I use the tape for arch and ankle support while walking, tennis, and working out, and it works perfectly. It performed admirably even when encased in a wet sock. The color run, on the other hand, was all over the place. There's no need to be concerned. Pink is one of my favorite colors. My sandals, gym clothes, and socks were all covered in it. I'd save some money on pedis if I could get it on my toenails.

This has a nice color and feel to it, but it does not hold up well if you plan to sweat a lot
3/5

I purchased this item for my brother; however, only one of the three packs arrived. This was supposed to be fixed, but only one of the three people showed up, so I only have two of the three. None- the- less, I believe it is a good product; my brother said, ''it's o. k'', the color was really nice, but working out with it isn't so much fun because it doesn't hold together well when wet; if it weren't for that and the fact that I bought it and didn't get my three tapes, it would have gotten a 5 star rating.

It's perfect for what it's supposed to be used for
5/5

During sparring, I usually use tape on my gloves to prevent scratches on the faces of my training partners. Believe me when I say that it saves a lot of money. It aids in the application of adhesive tape to your fingers, ankles, wrists, and other joints during training sessions.
