I can't say how many shots the Co2 cartridge will provide because I've never counted them. I do know that I get more than with my other Co2 guns, and it seals extremely well. I've had it in a holster in the closet for over a week, and the pressure is still there.
It's an excellent little replica for trick shooting and spinning. The balance isn't quite right, but it looks the part and has some weight. Toy man, you're fantastic!
For this gun, the 6" western holster is recommended. The barrel of the gun is six inches long. 75 inches in length We have a western revolver holster that is designed for the "real" deal, and this gun fits perfectly in it.

Since there have already been a couple hundred reviews written, I doubt anyone will read mine, but here it is anyway. br>This pistol was in excellent condition when I received it. It's well-made, sturdy, metal, and functional. It has the same appearance and feel as the real peacemaker pistol. br>br>At a range of 25 feet, this air pistol can hit a 2-inch target with pinpoint accuracy. The action is smooth and functions exactly like a real 44 long colt, which I know because I own one. I bought this bb pistol for my grandchildren. So far, the co2 cartridge has been easy to come by with this pistol. It has ejected more than 100 bbs and is still going strong. br>br>Some reviewers have expressed concern about the hammer remaining 1 click back. This is necessary because if the hammer stayed all the way down (Like the Real One), the co2 cartridge would be emptied in a matter of seconds. When the hammer strikes all the way, a puff of co2 is released to expel the bb. On this bb pistol, the hammer cannot be lowered all the way. br>br>Overall, this is a well-made BB pistol that does what it's supposed to do and is reasonably priced for what it is. This product has no flaws in my opinion.
I enjoy shooting, but shooting real firearms is not a practical or cost-effective activity for me as a student living in the city. I bought this replica single action army to plink cans in my backyard because I enjoy old westerns. br>br>So far, I am very pleased. The sights are fairly accurate out to a range of at least 15 yards (which is the length of my backyard range). Each CO2 cartridge contains 60 shots. The velocity decreases as the game progresses, so you'll have to arc longer shots.
The gun broke after three uses, and the manufacturer has not returned our calls for a replacement. br>Recent changes: They finally emailed me, but only after the gun had been out of warranty for two days to give me a shipping address, so I can now pay for shipping both ways and get a quote for how much it will cost to fix this gun.
I'm lucky enough to have a copy of the original in my possession. This replica of a 357 magnum is absolutely stunning and looks identical to the real thing. The . I wanted something similar to practice with in my own backyard without having to go to the range and spend $50 every time. br>br>I'm happy to report that this Colt replica is so much fun to shoot that I think I enjoy it even more now that I don't have to clean it after each use and 100 rounds only cost me $1. 50! br>br>Like my original, it's also extremely accurate and heavy. It all started when I was six years old and received a pair of cap guns that looked like Peacemakers as a present. I was in charge of cleaning up the neighborhood. I drove out bandits, bank robbers, rustlers, and other two-faced criminals from the neighborhood. varmint with four legs. It got me into trouble on occasion, but I was fearless and well-armed. My first real gun came later. Ruger Single Six was the weapon of choice. A few years later, I was able to get my hands on a pair of Colt SAA in. 45 Colt, with a few more to follow. Three of these are still in my possession. br>These days, I don't go to the range nearly as often as I used to. I had purchased a number of air guns, the majority of which were CO2 powered. I have three good pellet traps that I can use to shoot these inside the house. While cleaning and ogling my prized Peacemakers the other day, it occurred to me that Umarex manufactures these. CO2 powered 177 cal pellet. After doing some research, I went ahead and placed an order. I was skeptical at first, but the cost was reasonable. br>When it arrived, I was completely smitten. My expectations for this CO2-powered Colt SAA were far exceeded. Its accuracy astounds me. The sights on mine are spot on. The ejection rod is functional, but it isn't absolutely necessary. In fact, the cartridges fall out on their own when the gun is canted muzzle up. I was caught off guard when I dropped the first one to the floor. It became second nature to me after a while. The base pin on a real Colt can be removed to remove the cylinder from the frame for cleaning. To do so on the Umarex replica, you'll need some tools. But that isn't really necessary with this gun, and I don't recommend you mess with it. Simply place the cylinder back in its original location. I also ordered additional cartridges to replace the six silver-colored ones that came with it. The gold/brass colored ones were purchased in three sets. They perform the same functions as the silver ones, but at a lower price. These cartridges now don't look anything like the real thing. Ammo for the Colt 45. Instead, they have a resemblance to. 357 Mags. This does not bother me in the least. If I want to brag, I put the Umarex in one of my Western-style holsters/belts, which have loops filled with. Cartridges for the Colt 45. br>This revolver has the same look and feel as a real revolver, as well as the same weight and balance. The grips are unlike any I've ever seen or touched before, but they do have a nice appearance. I just act as if they're custom-made, which they are in some ways. This gun has an incredible resemblance to the real thing in terms of appearance. There is one obvious difference between the original and the replica. There is a black in color polymer type insert on the grip frame, right where the hammer and the frame meet, which I assume is due to the fact that it is a CO2 powered replica. There isn't anything that can be done about it. It's not a big deal. br>I put it to the test in my shop on an 8-meter range. I've been using RWS Meisterkugeln pellets for decades because they're the only ones that work for me. My first six shots were all on target, and I was able to fill the hole with a Nickel. I guess all the excitement about this new gun had made me a little jittery. I shot three more groups of six rounds the next day, all of which I could easily cover with a dime, despite my decades of experience with various air guns and fire arms, including nearly eight years in the US Army MP Corps. br>In general, I'm very happy with this version of a Peacemaker. I can only suggest it to those who have a natural aptitude for it. You will not be disappointed.
For a movie shoot, I needed a Colt that looked real. It's just icing on the cake that it shoots pellets. It's an outstanding firearm. It has the appearance of being real and it also has the sensation of being real. A single action that is precise. I'd buy from you again in a heartbeat! If you're interested in the leather holster, I purchased it separately from Amazon.
The muzzle energy and velocities aren't particularly high, but I'm confident that a well-placed shot could easily take down sparrows and mice. I can get about 100 consistent shots out of the pistol before the velocity drops to the point where you can't hit much even at five yards. I had fired around 3,500 to 4,000 shots through the pistol up until today, when the hammer spring broke. I had intended to do a much more detailed and in-depth review, including much more actual recorded information about shot count, velocity, and accuracy, among other things. However, I'm still waiting to hear from Umarex to see if they'll send me replacement hammer springs. When I hear back from them, I'll update my review. br>br>Within two days, Umarex responded and agreed to send me not one, but two hammer springs for free, which arrived a week later. Because of the increased hammer tension, the pistol now works perfectly and has even more power than it did before. I expect this spring to break after about 3,500 shots, but we'll have to wait and see.
