Even the wood has the appearance of aging. So it looks used and worn, just like real flintlock pistols used by pirates would. After all, no pirate is going to have pristine weapons. The only reason I didn't give it a perfect score was because of this. One pistol had a sharp metal edge on one of the screws that cut my hand, but the other two pistols are perfect! We will file down the one sharp edge and it will be perfect as well! I found very similar pistols on Etsy for twice the price, so I can't compare the quality, but I will say that for the price listed here, you can't beat this deal!.
It's garbage quality. After about 30 cocks, the hammer on this pitiful pistol fell off, then broke. Half-baked and worthless As you'd expect from a ten-dollar toy, the workmanship is shoddy.

The pistol performed admirably and looked fantastic tucked into my waist sash. The product arrived quickly, and I was able to use it before Halloween. The only drawback is that the ornamentation is only on one side of the weapon. It's most likely meant to be hung on a wall or placard. As a result, it appears visually unbalanced and unfinished. However, given the price and quality, this one flaw didn't bother me all that much. It is highly recommended.
It appears to be very authentic, almost identical to the real thing, and is ideal for display.

The piece used to pull back the hammer broke off as my son was doing so! I don't know how to fix it, so I'm giving it a three-star rating because my son liked it when he first got it, and it was pretty cool, but a week later, he pulled it back and it broke! My son is a history buff, so he purchased this with his own money; I'm not sure if he held back too much or not. It's only recently been broken!.
This added to the overall look of my outfit and served as a conversation starter. I mean that in a positive light. I really like it. The hammer mechanism broke after some use and "dueling" with my brother, which is why I only gave it four stars. However, it was not promoted as a toy. I must say, having the ability to play with user error would have been nice.
