The shipment of "toy guns" to California residents is prohibited in some counties, towns, and municipalities. You're probably attempting to deliver it to one of those locations.
Elastic Precision in Kansas City, Kansas, designed this product, but it is made in China.
It only sort of works here in the US, but I imagine it would be difficult to shoot being upside down if you were on the other side of the world.
Hello, we only sell the hard maple version of the Model 1911 on Amazon right now. The walnut and padauk wood versions are currently only available through the manufacturer's website; the other woods will be added early next year.

I wasn't disappointed either; this thing is well-made and a lot of fun to shoot. It's like shooting a rubber band with your finger, only this time it's a semi-auto 6 shot pistol toy! It's not cheap, but some things are simply worth the investment; if they weren't, I'd buy more for the family and arm them all. It stung a little because I shot myself in the arm at point blank range. If kids do play with these, I think wearing safety glasses is a good idea, and it's a lot less expensive than paintball. My better half despises it (as well as my habit of carrying it around the house in my pocket). Butts are the ideal prey! I also purchased a four-billion-pack bag of rubber bands that are very similar in size to the ones that came with the gun, so I'll never run out of ammo. Evil chuckle!.
Wonderfully made, with only 8 small screws and a simple wood construction. The design is simple, but once I got my hands on one, I was even more impressed than I had expected. There are no sharp edges or splintery parts, and everything has been smoothed and finished nicely. The rubber bands included in the package are also the right size. br>The only disadvantage I can think of is that without the rubber bands, the slide/trigger portion freely slides back and forth and rattles. br>br>I disassembled it and drilled two notches, one on the back of the trigger block and the other on the main body behind it, to accommodate a ballpoint pen spring. After that, I sanded down the sides of the trigger piece where the two sides of the slide screw into (just enough). It's now perfectly tight enough that it doesn't rattle around but still slides freely, and the small spring rebounds the slide forward without the need for rubber bands. It's PERFECT at this point! This little guy is adorable.
Do you want to be a worker, a subordinate, or a delivery driver? All you have to do is pull him/her off with a rubber band and everything will be fine. The good news is that it'll be a semi-regular occurrence. Automatic, rapid firing of up to 6 bands as fast as the trigga can be squeezed. There's nothing quite like feeling like the baddest OG (office gangsta) in the office. br>br>Now, for those of you who are thinking it, relax. So there. I didn't use words like "shoot," "gun," or "kill. " I'm not suggesting that we all go to work and do something so heinous, but there's nothing wrong with being silly once in a while. br>br>Laughter is the only way to avoid crying. So do it!.
I just wanted to make sure everything was in working order, so I opened it up. After that, I made the decision to give it a go. to ensure that everything was in working order Putting it away was extremely difficult. The sound of the rubber bands releasing and the trigger action only added to the fun. The wood is very clean and sturdy, as is the craftsmanship. This is a toy that was made to be played with!.
I gave a few of these as gifts and was present when they were unwrapped and used. The packaging/presentation was excellent, and the build quality exceeded expectations (it's a full-sized 1911, after all). Because of the wood grain, the smaller pistol model's trigger begs to be snapped off right away, but the 1911's trigger is a solid piece of wood integrated with the slide, hinting at long-term durability. (As you can see, there are four of these in circulation at that household. ) br>br>Both the quality and the packaging are excellent- As a gift idea, this is highly recommended. One thing I noticed was that the blue rubber bands (which were of good quality, by the way) were a little underwhelming. They were only just peppy enough to get a look from family bystanders 6' away after shooting maybe 20'. I'm sending them the smaller rubber bands so they can react more quickly (as one would expect from shenanigans). br>br>Overall, rubber bands have a higher neat/cool factor than Nerf darts with older school-aged children, but they're probably more of a tangle than easily picked-up Nerf darts. Nerf darts are a fun way to pass the time. Compatibility with a wide range of pets is unknown. The product is deserving of five stars, but the reality is that there are 100 rubber bands strewn about. Sending a gift to someone else's house is a great idea.
Quick summary: Really good quality, and it does exactly what it says it will. Rubber bands and very strong wood. However, the packaging is a little annoying, and it isn't well wrapped. I'm still giving it 5 out of 5 stars! Long version: br>br> This was a birthday present for my husband. He was enthralled by it and opened it right away to begin playing with it. He only had to remove the top cardboard piece and open the bag of rubber bands because the packaging was not wrapped. It can load up to six rubber bands at a time, and they can shoot quite far. Rubber bands will go from 3-to-3 if you don't shoot at the floor. 5 yards. If you shoot them at someone, they won't hurt them, but I wouldn't recommend it. The product has withstood a week of nearly non-stop use. Please pause the video. I like the design because it is sturdy and well-made. I was expecting a lower quality wood than what I received, but I am very pleased with my purchase! If I had to do it all over again, I would buy it. Yes, you can use it to turn off the lights at night.
This was purchased for my 7-year-old son, but it would be appropriate for any immature "boy" of any age. It is far superior to my expectations in terms of quality. Although this is to be expected for the price, the speed and ease with which you can fire off all of the loaded rubber bands is truly impressive, and the trigger pulls smoothly. I have a lot of 1911s and have fired a lot of them, so this one feels right in my hands.
PERIOD! Rubber band gun is a blast to shoot! The balance and weight are also perfect! I will say that you must purchase and use rubber bands of the appropriate size. It comes with plenty, but I double-checked for extras because I'm sure we'll use up and lose the ones that came with it. I only had one "misfire" with this weapon. Wear your eye protection, and ear protection if you're a parent, because the kids will be giggling and yelling with all the fun they're having! Ha. A fantastic purchase!.
