Questions & Answers

Do I need to sign it when I receive it?

If it is delivered without signature, no one needs to sign for it

What is the model number of this knife?

SWMP4L is not an automatic knife - it opens with the aid of a lever.

I've seen a lot of knives that come in dull form, but does this knife come in that?

The knives I have purchased are razor sharp when I receive them. I have purchased several versions of this knife. One of them has served me well during my travels in South America for four years. In all my years with the knife, it has never failed. My stone only gets sharpened a few times a few weeks with a stone. A knife I've owned since I was a kid.

It's a great knife, but it's horrible to open up
3/5

Knives have been part of my life for a long time. My intention is to use them for self-defense. When self-defense called for the use of a knife, I have used it several times. It has one fatal flaw, although it is an attractive knife. There may be a danger of injury if this knife goes missing and cannot be opened in a life or death situation. If your hands are sweaty, you have a difficult time activating the release button. Even if someone was running at me ready to attack, there is already a half-chance that the knife would not be able to open with one hand (meaning that I would need to use both hands just to prepare The knife is of high quality, but the mechanism for opening it is terrible. The old one is difficult to open, so I need to buy a replacement. You should be able to get your weapon ready for combat very easily and with no struggle, not to struggle at all.

. *Yes, there are times when I can open this knife quickly, but like I said it's about a half of the time. This means that half of the time it is either my life or my limb that could be in In addition to making it more dangerous and stupid to use, putting a safety on this knife makes it even stupider. Despite the fact that I usually review tools as if they were life or death situations, let me clarify this last time. * Knife quality 10/10 * Opening mechanism 0/10 (unreliable at best) * Safety on Knife 0/10 (this is not a gun) Seriously why is there a safety on my knife? To protect those who are It's a dangerous item and could potentially cause you to lose your life in a serious In a situation where you are fighting for your life, every second counts.
Get a knife with a better release mechanism that allows it to be opened easily when needed.

The opening mechanism is poor and the product does not last
3/5

Like others have mentioned, I find this knife to be rather bulky and heavy. In any case, it's not out of the ordinary for an open knife with assisted opening. Out of the box, the blade seems to be reasonably sharp. To be sure, I ran it through a sharpener on the fine side to make sure. It seems to be holding I think spring will be decently strong this year. So far, it has never messed up when I deployed the blade. Please note Knives look pretty good from an aesthetic point of view. My favorite thing about it is the way it looks, and it goes well with my tastes. This shield will protect you. Please note The pocket clip is the biggest problem I have with this knife. The fact that it curves into a sort of "C" shape and gets thinner in the middle instead of being a traditional straight bar doesn't appeal to me. A short and deep indentation is also present in the clip, as opposed to a wide and generous bend as occurs It is thus easier for you to draw and re-draw Clipping is a hassle since it tends to catch on the seam of my work pants. As a result, I'm hoping that the screws do not fall out like other reviews have reported.
- I have only one minor complaint, and that is I would much rather have a positive "click" to the button, much like the safety on a pistol. As opposed to that, it just sorta slides back and forth without getting in the way. Then continue ****- It's also important to note that this is another product manufactured by S&ampA It just bears the logo of the company Knives like this are not really manufactured by this company. Last week I dropped my knife on the floor in the bathroom, and the trigger snapped off. My surprise when I opened up the housing was that the trigger is actually just a piece of thin sheet metal with a small bend at the end to allow the blade to come I found this morning that the safety had failed after a small bend in it had broken off, resulting in the trigger just flopping around and not being able to open the knife. While I was holding it in my pocket, I popped it open and found this. The safety was in fact still on when I checked. I think the metal was either warped or wore down too much, as when I open the knife, the safety just pops off with ease.

There is a lot of stiffness in the slide lever
3/5

A legit pocket knife has been on my wish list for some time. We found those Swiss Amry knives to be overly expensive, and the blades to be too thin. In any case, I found out about this knife in an article about top In reading the description, it appears to be a cleverly engineered device. My favorite feature of this model was the spring action along with the safety As well as being lightweight, it had a good feel to it. Earlier today it was received. The extra weight makes the knife more comfortable, and I enjoy having it at my side. I like the make of the metal component of the knife it is heavy and well-constructed. It has a sharp and straight edge. It was, however, an absolute disappointment to disengage the blade with only one button or lever. First and foremost, it is more like sliding a lever than a button. It is hoped that you will release the spring action blade by sliding the lever down with your index finger. The slide action was supposed to be one, easy, and swift, but in reality it was not. There was such stiffness in the slide lever on the handle that it was easier to open the blade using the grip on the actual blade rather than the lever. In the meantime, I noticed that the slide lever slid smoothly up and down when the blade was partially opened. There was a problem with opening the blade, but the mechanism worked. In order to make sure I opened the blade properly, I reviewed other reviews and watched other video reviews. There is no difference between them all depict a blade that is easily opened. To open this blade, you must exert a tremendous amount of force. Although it's a new product, I can expect it to be The one I got was stiffer than I expected. As a result of trying to pull the lever down with my finger, I ended up sore. I don't recall the lever being this tricky to slide down in the first place. Despite trying five times, I could only get it to open twice by using the lever The attempt was made six times. The swivel joints can be cleaned and relubricated with a little elbow grease, but there are only a few screws visible, so it isn't sure if it can be disassembled. Also, the screws must be removed with Allen keys. According to its current pricing, this knife only gets 3 stars due to its excellent Putting this one in the mail back and ordering a new one. We hope that the next package that we receive will be of better quality and A more detailed update will follow.
