Knives of this quality are cheaper than those of higher quality. The blade fell off the handle while I was cutting the windpipe in a whitetail deer and left me having to scrape the guts out with a razor sharp blade somewhere in the guts. This is the worst knife I have ever owned because it is so unsafe.
The blade is secured correctly when it is installed! It's great to have my Havalon in my life!
The product does not contain a tool for removing the blades.

I would suggest ordering the blade changer that comes with it instead of the one that came with mine. In my experience, the blades are really sharp. I tried them on some hard plastic packaging and they worked well. I like that the tool makes changing the scapal shape blades a lot easier. In fact, I plan on putting this in my pack, as I honestly believe that it would be perfect for hunting small game, fowl, and so on. I may even consider it for deer hunting. Having watched some YouTube videos about it before buying, i was a skeptic at first, but after seeing how well it performs, compared to a blocky, prettier hunting knife, I am glad I made the purchase. Here's the first In addition to the sheath, additional blade and tool, the knife is very lightweight. * * 2 There are three factors that make it compact Change your blade to remove caked-on blood, fat, or membrane, and you are good to go The packaging of sterile blades It has a very grippy handle*6 Although it is lightweight and ergonomic, it feels balanced in the hand *7 In addition to my stubby bone saw, I also have a pocket knife with a backbone, so this supplies me with what they lack. Various downsides
1 I don't have a backbone, 2 You can't pick a fight, hack, or throw things.
We used this one to process 17 chickens and the blade is still sharp after all these uses. So far, I've used it on chickens and rabbits, and it is As a result, I recommend it to every friend I know.
In my case, I raise my own livestock and this knife would be perfect for butchering. This knife has razor-sharp blades that stay sharp for a very long time. Because of its size, I am able to handle it easily. It was nice that it had a tool for removing the blades. I'll use this knife to butcher meat for the rest of my life.
These knives are fantastic. Keeping a blade sharp is no longer a concern when fighting daylight. It is easy to replace the blades. As a backup, I own three of them just in case I can't find the one I need. My method of carrying out used blades without stabbing anything is to put them in an empty plastic pill bottle. Possibly the company (Havalon) should ship these with something like a pill bottle so everyone has an easy way to dispose of dirty, used It would have been better if I didn't store the used blades with the new ones, but I am nuts like that.
We used it to process small and medium-sized games and have fallen in love with it. Despite that, this is not a knife you can hand out to someone else. there is an enormous risk for injury. ) Basically scalpel sharp, it slices through ligaments and skin like nothing I have ever seen. With just a few tools, you can easily replace the blades!.
Purchased this and was very satisfied. It was just the novelty of possessing a scalpel blade in my pocket that prompted my purchase of this knife. The utility of the device was little known to me. The tough local meat must be trimmed Making a score on the top of homemade bread Cut up corrugated boxes as though they're there to be used In addition, your pocket knife should be used for any light It is also true that I have found that a dull blade will strop back to nearly a new state, meaning that the box of blades will last for a very long.
It is hoped that there will be better blades available than the 60XT blades this model This is a skin that I bought to add some colour to a game Ideally, the skulls should be cleaned with as little tissue remaining as possible after the death of the furbearers. An expert was using a knife like this to do the same, so I thought that would solve the problem of constant resharpening that goes along with conventional knives. In skinning, you can use a blade for a long time. When you use it on joints or where it makes much contact with bone, it will be time to change the blade. should be obvious that scalpel blades are not intended to cut bones, but it does happen often. There is a good seal on the knife The blade changing tool that comes with the tool makes changing the blades both easy and safe This is easy.
I have carried and used this knife for well over 20 weeks and for the price I paid, I got 20 blades along with the knife, which would sell almost alone in stores for what they ask. Since I carry this knife every day and use it for work, the only problem I've had is that the screws that hold the clip one keep coming loose, and I have no driver bits to fix them, so I have to use needle nose pliers to fix it. Actually, that's all I have to say.
