When one purchases a work of fine craftsmanship, even at a high cost, there is a certain joy and satisfaction. There is no such thing as this. While another reviewer said that the blade is "so sharp, I cut myself" (as another reviewer stated), I found the blade to be dull when using the fingernail test. The locking mechanism is made of a very thin steel. A quick lacquer spray appears to have been used to finish the wooden handle, rather than any particular craftsmanship. In the butt end, there is a hole that might be used for a belt or strap. A lack of attention to detail is demonstrated by the rough and raised edges of the hole instead of sanded surfaces. Aside from the brush built into the handle, this is the only thing that makes it superior to an equivalent size locking pocket knife.
