With the timer, you can use any standard rechargeable (or other) battery coupled with the standard feeder motor. This feeder kit can be directly replaced by feeder kits without a plastic housing that completely seals the feeder. Seeing how bird feeders are assembled will help you figure it out. Whenever you need assistance, go to a sporting goods store that has them on display.
The dimensions of this one are approximately 4" x 4" x 1". I don't have one to measure, but it is approximately 4" x 4" x 1".
This item is not functional until it is connected to a 9 to 15 volt power source, but it will hold the programming until it is connected
Currently, you cannot set a sleep setting, however the feeder will only run at the times you specify. Once started, it runs for a predetermined period of time. I usually have an entire season of use from my batteries.

Timer never went off one time after I installed a new battery and motor. I connected the positive and ground connection to the battery and the blue wire going to the motor is always hot and the timer never went off. I had to go out and buy another timer from the academy store. When she heard this, she said send it back to us and we would send you a In the trash I threw it!.
There was always an almost identical appearance to the timers. This was my timer of choice and I replaced other brands with them. With a programmable day feature, a lot of corn can be saved off-season. Despite being sourced from someone else, the timer seems to be an original. In comparison with the old model, it has a different shape and size. The first few times I programmed it, it was inoperable. I discovered that if you pushed the buttons REAL hard and several times, you could eventually program it. About a month after purchasing it, the fuse started blowing.
With the replacement of some of my old timers, I am now using this one. There is nothing wrong with this timer, it has all the same settings as any other timer, but it takes so much power to run the clock that it is not recommended. When I had an old timer it would last 2 years on 4 AA batteries I selected settings that would keep me on my current settings for 3 months. When this timer runs, the batteries will be dead in 3 seconds With the same settings, this will take 4 weeks.

Originally packaged, I purchased two and they were in excellent condition. The lease was terminated in October when the new one was installed. Last week I returned to the ground to see that no feed had been laid down. It appeared that the program was correct, and that the battery A spinning wheel appears when you press the test button. 600 p. m. has been changed to 6 00 p. m. The alarm sounded at 7 a. m. for the 50 and 50 I tried it once and it worked. It failed to work again when I did it the same way. I waited until 4pm and the app did not work. I replaced it with a second timer, and the result was the same. As I have called to talk to support all I get is a message saying they are dealing with a high call volume, so they will contact me soon. After waiting two days for a call back, nothing has happened. That was a $50 waste of my time.
The unit is hooked up, and when it turns on and I press "test" you can hear it try to run the motor and fail. The motor on another old one of mine runs fine too. I have two of everything. Adding new batteries, two motors, and an older controller completes the system. This piece of equipment is the only one not to work with the other pieces. A motor is not spinning because not enough power is being delivered to it. After the test kicks off, you can hear it try and see all characters flash on the screen. Instructions for troubleshooting are not available. I contacted support at about 6 p. m. , but they were closed for the day. The experiment failed.
Problems need to be addressed right away. Out of the box, I encountered a lot of problems with the device. I'm not sure if it will work at 6v. I was unable to test the system since it shorted out and reset every time. The unit worked when the voltage was set to 12v, however. This week's rent was less than a week's rent. I noticed that my deer feeder was not working on the opening day of deer season, but I also realized that the controller was no longer functioning after a few minutes of troubleshooting. The phone would not turn on, even when it had a brand new battery. You are wasting your money if you do this.
