The ASF Digital Timer is included in this spin feeder control unit.

How wide are the mounting brackets from outside to outside?

I'm not sure, but it's a little wider than a six volt, so you'll have to drill a new hole if you're replacing one, but it'll be worth it.

Is there a port on the side of the box where a solar panel can be connected using flexible conduit?

Yes. The squirrels keep eating my wires, so I'm going to use metal flex. Ugh.

It's a great design that's also bomb-proof. It's very simple to set up and use. To keep things from moving around, I used velcro on the inside components.
