I was initially dissatisfied with the rifle's accuracy until I discovered that pellets are required for any accuracy. BBs were flying everywhere, making it difficult to hit anything at 30 feet. After that, I purchased Daisy wadcutter pellets, and the rifle is now a joy to shoot. br>br>The accessories that come with this rifle are ridiculous. I did not file a formal complaint because the difference in price between the rifle with accessories and the rifle alone is only $5. To begin with, the rifle was supposed to include three BB bottles and a tin of pellets. Only a tin of BBs were included. As previously stated, the BBs shot horribly. The scope of the project is utter nonsense. I've seen better quality scopes on plastic toy guns, and I've adjusted the focus throughout its entire range of motion, and the image is always a blurry mess. What's up with the safety glasses and the small disk targets? meh. br>br>I mounted a cheap old red dot I had laying around, and this rifle is all day fun with it and a box of pellets. When you don't feel like packing a ton of gear into your car and driving all the way to the range, it's great to be able to do some plinking in your own backyard.
BB gun with a lot of power. I usually pump it four or five times, and the BB has a significant impact on wood. It's also a lot quieter than I expected (although a pellet makes it a little louder). Pulling the trigger with a BB in the chamber results in a "click. " It's also incredibly precise. At about 30', I can consistently hit a quarter. Although the scope appears to be an afterthought because it has adjustments, it is extremely sensitive, so I try to store the rifle in such a way that the scope does not come into contact with anything and treat it as if it were made of tissue paper when handling it.
My son has loved it and has used it almost every other day since Christmas for the past four months. We had some trouble figuring out the safety features, as well as how to load and pump, at first. I used to have one that was similar but a little easier to use when I was younger - However, after reading the manual, it isn't a big deal. It has a nice powerful shot for a youth beginner's airgun, is accurate enough, and fun to plink around with in the backyard, and the value is excellent because it comes with a lot of extras (BBs, pellets, targets). The purchase has exceeded my expectations. br>br>Because the field of vision is so small, it was difficult to zero the scope, and my son eventually removed it. The gun isn't accurate enough out to the range where a scope would be useful, and iron sights are faster for acquiring closer targets. Despite the fact that the scope is limited, I still give it a five. Get rid of the gimmick, because everything else appears to be in good working order, and the iron sights are extremely accurate. The fiber-based With a single shot BB gun, you don't need to pick up the sights quickly, so the optic is a nice touch, but it's also a little silly. So far, I'm pleased with my purchase!.
What I don't like is how flimsy the cocking bolt feels. The scope that came with it is junk, so order your gun separately from the "kit" and save some money. Get a scope and mounting rings for your rifle. What I found appealing. br> The build quality is solid, and it has a pleasant feel to it. The gun is simple to operate, but you must cock the bolt or it will not operate at all, presumably as a safety feature. This weapon has a lot of power and is very precise. I'm getting 3/4-inch groups at 30 yards with 10 pumps. I used a cheap Beman 4 power airgun scope that I had on hand to mount the scope. It's a nice, inexpensive backyard plinker for small game like squirrels and rabbits. I'm no expert, but I'm 60 years old and have a lot of experience with firearms of all kinds. This is a nice gun for anyone of any age.
If it isn't actually polymer, it's better designed and has a more polymer feel. br>I bought it to get rid of a bird that won't go to sleep in a tree outside my bedroom window at night. But, after watching Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds with the kids the other night, I'm afraid that taking this little guy out will curse me. As a result, I'm now attempting to befriend him. But he won't stop talking. br>Jeez, what bird needs to chirp every day from 10 p. m. to noon? br>However, he's now my pal, and I adore how he drives everyone insane. Over it.
Having a great time. Excellent value for money. It reminds me of my adolescence. It has a very high-end feel to it. It does not have a cheap appearance or feel to it. Even with only 6 pumps, it delivers a powerful punch. Short pellets can be difficult to load. The longer ones go in easier, but it still takes practice; I haven't found a pellet that shoots well, but I'll keep looking. The number of pumps has an effect on the pattern, which I discovered. I've got a nice Hawke 3-footer for sale. On my 901, I have a 9X40 scope. This rifle is a blast to shoot.
I replaced the scope as the first change I made. I put it aside because it was so bad (how bad was it?) that I couldn't make out the outline of the target (big bird or small bird?). 22 but it was returned because it was too difficult to cock br>Now, let's get back to Daisy: br>I'm experimenting with different pellet types because I don't want to leave lead all over the yard; lighter pellets work better and, despite their higher price, are more enjoyable to use because I can hit the center more easily. The pellets have a more compact grouping. Continue to experiment with different pellets and clean the barrel from time to time. I use fishing line that has been knotted.
My 7-year-old was just learning how to use it when it failed on him, so I didn't have much luck with it. It can be pumped, but it will not hold air. So either the air chamber blew out or there was a problem with one of the seals. He can't even get it pumped for more than 5-minutes with his strength. He only did it seven times out of a maximum of ten, so he didn't overdo it. I'm not sure if it was just bad luck, but it could have been.
