This is a well-made hanger with a great design. Heavy-duty steel is used to construct it. The design keeps the skull in place on a strong bone point. My skull, which I hung, is quite large and heavy. On the wall, the skull is amazing. After I attached the bracket, I painted it with matching wall paint. Because the bracket can barely be seen, the skull now appears to float. These photos were taken before the bracket had been painted. The instructions for securing the bracket to the wall are simple to follow. To ensure that the screws are securely attached to the wall, you must first locate a stud. For my skulls, this is the only bracket I trust!.

Skull Brackets' hangers, or "brackets," are unique to each type of skull, and I should have bought it sooner. The bracket mounts to the hole where the spinal cord once attached to the skull, and it is of excellent quality, fit, and function. I congratulate my Wyoming neighbors to the north; a Colorado Skull will never be hung by me again unless it is mounted with Skull Brackets! AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME.

We originally ordered a bracket to hang this Scottish Highland skull, but it would have caused the skull to hang awkwardly away from the wall. We went back to the drawing board and discovered the Buffalo Bracket European Skull Hanger Mount Kit. It's perfect! The skull is secure and hangs beautifully, almost flush with our porch's brick peak. Plus there's this: The mount was designed and manufactured in the United States of America!.

Shipping was quick, and the price was reasonable. The product we received was exactly what we needed! We had originally planned to buy a more well-known brand. Our skull ended up protruding about 6-inches due to a well-known brand (which was more expensive) and It was 7" away from the wall and looked ludicrous. This one is more flush with the wall and very sturdy, as you can see in the photo.

I've been looking for something like this for a long time. My bison skull fits perfectly in this European mount. Obviously, I had to put it in a stud, but it's very secure. Once I found the right pilot hole drill bit, it was simple to install. Anyone would benefit from it.

This fits my bison skull, but the way it's mounted causes it to hang a few inches away from the wall. I imagined it to be flush with the wall, or at the very least close to it. I'm not sure what I'll do with the bracket because it wasn't cheap.

While it looks great, the skull does not sit properly on the bracket and slides left and right to the point where I believe it will fall completely off the bracket or break. I wouldn't recommend it unless you can find a way to make it more secure.

This worked beautifully on a younger satellite 4x6 bull elk. This look was more appealing to me than the Bull Bracket. With the hook and angle combined, the skull is extremely secure. I emailed Rowdy at Skull Bracket, and he quickly responded, telling me that it should work with a younger bull. The purchase was a great success.
