Approximately 22 and 3/8 inches are the length of the rack(s), and a height of 2 and 3/4 inches, while the construction is plastic/nylon and 1/4 inch thick. According to the length of your fishing poles, you can decide how wide the gap should be between the 2 racks. In my garage, I have mine located inverted on the truss at 48 inches and ceiling mounted. Like I said in the review, I like these gloves a lot, and I find them to be very

I am very pleased with this product. A safe way of hanging it on the garage ceiling and placing the rods in it was found. It is important to position them so you can use your shortest pole when mounting these. When my dad measured the spacing out, he used the wrong pole and almost had to redo it. It may seem obvious, but my dad was using the wrong pole when he measured the spacing out. Since there was elastic, I was able to double up on a couple slot and all of the components are secure, thanks to the elastic. The plastic seems to be a little cheaper than I'd expect, but it's not like they will be heavily used, so I think that these will last for a long time. I love that the poles are raised above the ground and that they're neatly arranged.
In my garage, I installed this on the ceiling. To find and mark the floor joists above, I had to use a stud finder, as the screws provided were small and short. For each side, I drilled three screws. You'll need to make sure the "finished" sides face outwards on both ends, so the rod grip circle on one end is directly the other side of the opening in the rod end. In order to prevent larger poles from bending too much at the tip, I would recommend spacing them less than 48" apart, even if you have large poles. As a result, I use rod covers to minimize the risk of breaking a guide when I am moving my rods in and out of reservoirs.
Since some rods might not fit properly on the half loops, the stretchable string it comes with is a life saver.
With rods for every occasion, he kept our boat clutter-free. The new rack has 10 rod slots and all have rod socks on them and they fit perfectly. I have spincast, baitcast and spinning rods in all 10 spots. My method of mounting the sitter was to use self-mounting screws I used the screws I already had on hand to tap the heads of them I can still access the old three rod holder on the floor since the new rod holder sits even with the top rail. In addition to the bungees, rod socks make excellent sails when they are rolled down the highway. I will be adding an additional bungee to the center of the three top rods for added security. In all, this is a fantastic product and is very easy to set up.
I expected some thick plastic for that price. But all I got was some filmsy plastic that showed very little for this price. The installation went smoothly, but the rods do pop up out of their slots and rest on the cord, which I am glad there is. In my opinion, this is not worth as much as you think.
This is a decently sturdy product. This seems to work okay. The product is good and I would buy it There is only four stars because one of my rods fell out and got crumpled. All seemed to be well with the installation on my garage door. As a result of the up/down changes that a garage door is subject to, the tip of two of my rods worked its way out of the "T" slot, then down the bungie, and finally It is now clear to me to weave or wrap the bungee so that it is taut and puts some tension on the rods. The only thing I wish I would have known before I crushed an ultralight rod is this. In addition, the fishing poles are neatly stored on the bracket.
No matter how fast they run, they never let go of the rods. I am very happy with them for the price!.
Though it serves its purpose well, it could be improved a bit. The rod holder units should be separated slightly more from one another so that the rods are longer. Since it is designed for smaller reels, I cannot fit large counter reels in this unit. Although they fit with a little adjustment, a little width would help them fit easier. If each area were about 1/2 inch to 1 inch wider, they would fit In addition, this unit is made from a much lighter and less sturdy material than another similar unit I have. I don't think this will cause too much concern though, unless I put a lot of pressure on it.
