No, it doesn't work that way. The nozzle that comes with it, on the other hand, is extremely simple to use. And it doesn't come flying out of nowhere. Squeeze the bottle lightly. The harder you squeeze, the faster it comes out, and the more volume it produces. As a result, remember that. However, this item is incredible! This and bone dry are the only products I use. The product is fantastic and well worth the money. It's easy to work with and doesn't leave a greasy residue. It also dries quickly!

Yes, the conical cap applicator has a 1/16" orifice. We have other tips ranging from 12 gauge, which is the largest tip, to about 20 gauge, which is one of the smallest tips. The resin is too viscous to pass through the 20 gauge and above the conical.
It's alcohol resistant, but I'm not sure about the other solvents.

There's nothing in the description to indicate what type of resin this is, but based on its properties before, during, and after curing, I can only assume it's a common polyester resin. Which is fine if that's what you want; it works well for what it is, though the cheap stuff from China will work just as well because the composition isn't that different. So, I'd say this stuff is a little pricey. br>br>That said, I wanted to know if it was solvent resistant, so I asked in the questions, and someone responded that it was, at least to isopropyl alcohol, but that's not the case. You might think it is if you don't look closely after exposing it to IPA, but if you rub the surface with IPA, you'll notice a lot of small scratches because the IPA dissolves the top surface slightly. Again, polyester resins are known for this. br>br>This same company also sells UV-curable vinyl ester resins, which I bought instead of this stuff after realizing it wasn't going to work for me. The vinyl ester cures very well under a mercury vapor lamp and is actually solvent resistant, with no minor scratches from IPA rubbing. This is significant to me because I need to sterilize the surface, and IPA is the most convenient method. br>br>In short, you should get a vinyl ester resin instead of this stuff if you need something chemically resistant. The issue is that many companies do not specify what resin they use, so if you need something specific, I would steer clear of anything that does not state what it is. Otherwise, you'll be wasting your money, just like I did, by purchasing something you won't use.
In the end, it's all about the results. The bottle comes with a fixed cap and a nozzle cap that must be cut to use, which is a major disappointment. The nozzle doesn't have a cap on it. What the hell is going on? I'll have a look around and see what I can come up with. For thirty dollars. Please send me a cap that can be flicked. Simply for the sake of the movie.
Great for saltwater flies' heads (Bonefish Bitters), and for getting "3D" effects out of holographic eyes on EP baitfish patterns, and so on.
Fly tying is a breeze with this material. I've tried a few UV resins and this one is my favorite because it cures quickly with the Solarez UV cure flashlight.
This stuff forms a thin, sticky layer on top of itself that never dries. Even when exposed to UV light for a long period of time. This is why I've come back.
This product is fantastic, and I use it for almost all of my fly-tying projects.
It was well worth the money. It only takes a few seconds to set up an ultraviolet torch. Within an hour, I had used up another 35 ties on bamboo brushes.
It lays down on flies without separating and can be moved around with the tube or tooth pic with just a touch.
