This is not the case. It may be wise to have quite a few of those ties if you're going to use this vise In any case, nuts and hardware fit into slots.

I give this product a six-star rating. The mill vises that I have purchased and used over the years have been of 'imported' manufacture. All the money I've spent on imports could have been spent on a made in the United States product Many years ago, Kurt DX worked in the United States. PERFECT! This Blue Beauty is flat, square, straight, and perfect. Now that precision components are a joy to make instead of trash, Rejects that were canned with an import vise. A very good vise, a bit on the pricey side, but worth the money. My skills as a machinist are limited, but I can tell the machine will last forever.
Earlier this week, Amazon's delivery driver hand delivered the box to me. I made good use of all that (and heavy-duty! The answer is obviously yes). Those who handled the packing did a great job. Both the packaging and vise were unharmed. I am amazed at the quality of the vise. This was a smooth and accurate process. I love it. Tool of quality old fashioned in America. Yeah, for sure. There was an increase in price. Yeah, for sure. Pay what you want and you will get what you desire. Unlike other vises that are in the race to the bottom, this vise's primary motivation is to win. This is in a class of its own. One more thing, the stop was on the front of the vise, as another reviewer noted.
Quality that is out of this world! A heavy metal song with smooth action and wicked lyrics. As stated above. My order was shipped out swiftly, and both indicators worked on my milling machine. Buy, like. Happy fabricating! Each one is worth its weight in gold.

One area that makes this vice stand out is the fact that it opens to nine inches. It's not surprising that the other 6 inch models on the market open only 6 or 7 inches wide. It is therefore a blessing to be able to clamp a 9 inch part.
The vice arrived undamaged. Overall, the product was nice. I recommend it. It is important to buy quality so that you can rely on Despite the handle being a little longer than usual, it isn't of much concern.
When it comes to purchasing something, you get what you pay for sometimes. It was awesome to work with you - the work stop was missing in the box, but a few emails and calls to Kurt and the work stop was sent. My experience with these guys was great. I couldn't find the swivel base here, but I did purchase it anyway and I recommend it.
I have the 4th vise on my mill, and this is a great one. Although this one does not have the detachable front half of the vise as the other three do, I am not happy about that. I did not even realize that existed or thought they would be that way in the future. The stand is not detachable so there are many possibilities that I cannot take advantage of. It is best to be cautious when purchasing.
