Solid and sturdy AS material makes for a premium product. When it is dropped into the water, it floats due to its light weight. This tough box is designed to resist cracking, and the double hinges enhance ease of access by allowing the lids to fold to 180°.

It is designed with clear lids on both sides, so you can quickly see which flies are in your box, so you can save time by not opening each one individually.

It is secure the high density Foam insert makes it durable and safe to store fly collections. When the lid is closed, there is enough room in this box for your flies not to be crushed.

Questions & Answers

In addition to storing flies, I want to use it for other things. Is it therefore possible to remove the foam inserts?

It was out of courtesy that I did not cause any damage to the boxes as they are intended for their specified purposes. In spite of that, I decided to give A secure mounting of the foam inserts appears to have been achieved. Glue may be used to secure them.

What if I want to use this with Walleye stinger hooks?

I haven't fished the Walleye in over 50 years but based on the description given at BPS, it would depend on the hook size. It looks like a treble hook, and the case is designed to fit lures designed for trout. In this case, I would look at the deeper issue rather than combine it with a double case. It's been a while since shore lunches have been served!

allow enough clearance for dry flies to lie on top of it? Are there enough space between the hackle and the post to prevent it from getting ?

Fly boxes like this one come in handy for catching a number of different types As a nymph holder, streamers and dry fly holder, I've used it several times. Using size 10 stimulators or size 12 humpy patterns has not caused the lid to cause any hackles to fall.

Is this box big enough to hold jigs?

If we used a larger jig, that would be a bit tight

Is it a good idea to draw flies? Two of these have tops tall enough to hold poppers and other tall flies

If you have more flies than you can handle, these offer a lot of storage for a fair price. The ones I have are 3/4" thick and they fit perfectly! There is always a catch and a miss when it comes to fishing. Among my collection of hackles are a few large ones for bass and other species. Then they are perfect for you! This is a good one for carrying, you can load what you want. It's small enough that you won't feel weighed down when carrying it. Furthermore, it fits perfectly into any pocket as it is SO A wide range of options are available.

There aren't many hook slits on the hooks

For small to medium streamers, I was looking for a waterproof box or two. Fishing for smallmouth and largemouth in piedmont streams and rivers has been a long-standing hobby for me. Despite the fact that they seemed to be well made, the triangle/slit configuration of the foam just didn't work for the size fly I use (4, 6, 8). It should also be good for nymphs and woolyboogers. As such, I sent them back to you.

I like these boxes a lot! One thing I wish they had was a tether ring for the small and medium so you wouldn't accidentally drop them in the river, but this has never really been an issue for me

For 3 boxes, it is a great value. The flies are held in them quite well and they are sturdy. Keep Dries-It set right where you want it The Nymphs - The steamers - To pack for a hike and season, keep your woollies separate and in little boxes. The thing is I've dropped and smashed a couple of times. A crack does not exist. An excellent value, as well as better than many expensive name brand products.

My case is of great quality and has a great product

I'm very pleased with it. Small but incredibly sturdy and functional, this fly box is perfect for small flies. Many drops have been survived and it has been crushed a few times. By having the lids clear, you can see without having to open them up on the river until you actually need to do so. Perhaps I missed it in the description and the photos, but there is also a small tie down point. My fly fishing lanyard contains a fly box and a keychain retractor, which I keep attached to my vest or waders, so it was important that it had a retractor for me. One more was recently purchased and I am probably going to get another one as a All in all, good value for money and good quality.

The price is 20 bucks per It might be better to use these. For all three sizes, the price is 20 dollars. I would like to note that the hinges I found to be reinforced with metal pins, the foam goof, the lock, and the water seal were excellent.

only have room for 33 more flies in my medium box. In the end, I decided I'd rather have the extra space and keep a few small tins for streamers or delicate dried flowers.
