This is a great way to keep your live bait safe and secure. I usually have three dozen medium shiners and two dozen larger shiners on hand, and they have done well for me. The batteries appear to be long lasting, and the internet connection is excellent. Is it possible that the colder water in Maine plays a role?

I own a 13-quart version of this, and it's fantastic. That's why I went with the 30 gallon size; it'll keep your bait from boiling in the sun. It's easy to move thanks to the latched lid and handle, which prevents any water from spilling. This item's most appealing feature is the fitted mesh basket. Simply lift the handle, and your bait will float high in the air. Making it simple to choose your bait without the need for a net. I purchased the 30 quart size in order to keep live shrimp in it. I avoid putting shrimp in the same live well as mullet or mud minnows. There is enough water in this to keep it aerated. You are free to leave them there. The disadvantage is that it is very heavy due to the water. To move it, I'll use the shoulder strap that came with it. I have never had a pump as quiet as the aerator pump.

Each set of batteries lasts more than four days; however, I replace my batteries every four days because bait is expensive here (I miss being able to buy shrimp by the pint like I used to in Texas). The shrimp, on the other hand, survived for a full 12 days. When I changed the batteries, I also changed the sea water in the cooler. I kept the cooler in the shade, but not in a particularly interesting location. The weather has been warm, with temperatures ranging from 74 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit. During this time, I only lost about 4 shrimp out of a total of two dozen (except for those that gave it their all on a hook). br>br>On the cooler, there is some really cute labeling. "Live Bait Cooler" is written on the main label. "Ideal for live Bait," it says on the secondary label's instructions. "That's excellent for a live bait cooler. " In any case, I like it a lot. I don't want to add another through hull to the boat, so this will suffice for a day of fishing in either the big boat or the dinghy. br>br>If you compare the prices of other hard coolers in this size, you'll notice that they're significantly more expensive. Even the larger Engel coolers, like the other hard side brands, are exorbitantly priced.

I was successful in keeping them alive and using them all for sheepshead. All fishing ladies and gentlemen, I highly recommend this live bait cooler. Get the 30qt if you want to be safe.
The bubbler is slightly offset to the side, and the air tube passes through the lid, which is ideal. It has brackets on each side for hold downs or shoulder straps, and a full net basket, so all you have to do is lift it up, pick your bait, and drop it. The lid latches and has a good gasket. Alternatively, you can use batteries or a 12 volt outlet. For $15, I purchased a set of four strap loops and four tie down straps from Amazon. It never moved or spilled a drop of water when I took it out on my boat and over some rough roads. I did add some rubber matting to the four legs to keep them from sliding when they weren't being held down, as well as a small safety cable from the cooler to the lid to keep the lid from opening against the hinges.
The air pump does not seal properly, which defeats the purpose of purchasing the live bait cooler. br>We tried contacting the seller but received no response, and returning it is a problem because I do not have a printer to print a return label.
YET. My cooler is from Engel. This cooler is a lot flimsier than my Engel cooler. This is not the thick, roto-molded bait box you're looking for. You may be familiar with the molded indestructible box found in Yeti, RTIC, or Engel products. I haven't used it yet, but after testing the pump, I'm wondering if it will last a few weeks of fishing. It's made for a very low price. The only way to find out is to wait.
To begin with, the unit's hinges are cheap. If the lid is not opened slowly, it may break. There isn't enough air coming from the air pump. To keep my shiners alive, I had to purchase a larger round air stone as well as a better air supply; your company has the right idea.
