Yes, the pump, tubing, and inside net basket are all included. The pump will require batteries.
The pump is powered by two flash light batteries, which I don't believe can be recharged. The plug-in works great as well, and you can leave the cooler in the boat over night and the bait will be fine the next day. If you add some ice to them, they'll last even longer.
That's a great question; I'm afraid I don't know the answer, but I'm hoping they do. See for yourself by going to their website.

The only thing I regret is that I did not purchase this bait cooler sooner. This is something I really enjoy. I fish in Florida, which has both hot and cool weather. Because the cooler keeps the water temperature from getting too hot or cold, my live shrimp and pinfish stay nice and active in it. I like that it's sealed and that the air hose is on the top of the lid, so water doesn't spill all over my car while I'm driving, and I don't think the air pump is too loud. It performs admirably and the batteries last a long time. It has outlasted all of my other pumps by a long shot. The net on the inside is a fantastic feature. I can just lift the net out and grab what I want instead of fishing my hand around the bucket to see if there are any shrimp left or searching for a pinfish mixed in.
It's easy to clean and doesn't have a strong odor. The minnows made it through the weekend without incident, with only five of them dying the following weekend. The aerator isn't particularly loud in my opinion, but it does make a noise when it runs. Everything you'll need is included in the package. The bait is lifted out of the water by the net.
My husband was overjoyed when he received this gift for his birthday. He was watching Deer Meat For Dinner on YouTube when he noticed Rob was using one and decided he needed one as well. I'm not a fisherman, but my husband swears by it!.
If water temperatures were kept constant and water was replaced on a daily basis, the minnows could have survived for up to 5 days with minimal loss.
I haven't had any bait die since I turned on the pump, and I do a lot of river back fishing in hot weather! I've even used it as a seat on occasion, and it hasn't moved. Apart from my poles, this product is my absolute favorite.
My son enjoys it, but there are two things he's learned from it. 1) do not leave outside overnight in cold weather as it will freeze; 2) check your batteries frequently as it went dead after three uses and you will lose some minnows.
The live minnow bait piqued my grandson's interest. He's an excellent angler. We had purchased him a different one for his birthday, but it was stolen from the truck. He was dissatisfied with his lot in life. This worked out perfectly as a stand-in for the original.
The initial price is a learning curve, but the cooler/bait keeper is fantastic. On low-battery power, it will run for two days. Also, the car's plug-in is fantastic. I wish there was a 110 volt outlet. Overall, there's no way to go wrong!.
