No, these pads are designed to stay in place and will not fall out.
I'm sure it is, but why is that? The hooks are securely held in place by the pad, but they can be easily removed as needed. I've gone to these fly boxes for everything except my largest flies (e.g., e.g., e.g., e.g., e. They're great for streamers, wooly buggers, and other similar items because they're waterproof and slim enough to fit in your shirt or vest pocket.
I have two, but I have never used them (they are brand new). THEY APPEAR TO BE AIR TIGHT!

The Aventik Silicone Super Slim Fly Box is very attractive and holds a large number of flies. The plastic latch hindges are my primary concern. I'm not sure if that plastic is very strong. I'm deliberately closing the box by squeezing it shut before latching it shut. There is no warranty that I am aware of. Best wishes to you.

I'm on my third purchase of this fly box. The first two are ideal, but this one does not fit a size 18 woman. The larger hook sizes hold as they should, but the smaller hook sizes tend to come loose after 20 hooks. I still like the box because it's where I keep my bigger flies.
The case is very nice. According to the product description, there are two sizes of boxes: M and L. There is only one box that you will receive, and it will be the L. I'm not sure how you got the M box because the description doesn't mention anything about it.
Fantastic fly box that is waterproof. I can fit a lot of my smaller saltwater flies in here and not have to carry around my large fly box when I'm wading or kayak fishing. There is no risk of leakage because the seal is very tight. This item comes highly recommended by me to anyone looking for a small waterproof fly box.

Great value for money, especially when compared to name-brand fly boxes, which can cost up to four times as much. This case has a nice silicone insert that is securely seated. There are no issues. It is something I will purchase again.
This is my first time using this type of silicone fly holder, and it's a nice little fly case at a good price. They do a great job of keeping flies in place. For slightly thicker flies, I wish there was a little more clearance. This was purchased to serve as a small fly box for bluegills. My larger bluegill flies are a little cramped, but not to the point of being unusable. Others have expressed concern about the plastic tabs on the latch, but I believe this case will last for many seasons with a gentle touch.
