As you can see in the photo, they make it really easy to puncture a hole in your chair. I was pleased to find a durable fabric on the first surface I sat on. Leather probably would not have fared well in the same environment. Despite the open bottom design, a full holster would be more useful since it would provide more storage space on all sides. This is a great set of pliers! The feel of the glove in my hand is great and it is light and comfortable. It looks great and is well designed. Besides the knot tying tool, I also got the quick knot I really like the cutter for mono - it's very smooth I don't care as much for braided strands (not that it is intended to be braided). There was a lanyard with each tool in the set. A great design on the pliers lanyard. There's not much rust or corrosion to worry about. Although the quick knot tool lanyard seems to work, the latch on the connector is flimsy and easily bends, which has already caused it to fail once. A quick fix may be possible if it can be bent back, but it may also result in total tool loss. The tandem is a great value and a great tandem overall. It is five stars for the pliers, three stars for the quick knot (although gimmicky, it was fun), and zero stars.

It's okay to tie little knots and clip tags with the little tool. The tool can really only be used to tie braid, but it can only cut mono. I have braid ranging from 6 lb to 300 lb and it cannot cut any of it cleanly. Thanks to the pliers, now I have amazing tools. The little nippers on the pliers make this a 5 star product. They cut mono, braid, and even wire. I haven't tried cutting big wire yet, just some 30lb fishing wire, and they are very ergonomic. The jaws and cutter are replaceable, so I may purchase another set of pliers just to have on hand. They are made of aluminum with the exception of the jaws and cutter, so I will probably purchase another set of pliers. Replacements are offered only if they are sold. They will not rust, so there's no need to worry.

I tried the pliers for a week and they did exactly as expected, but when used on larger hooks they failed. As soon as the pliers were clamped the jaws began to bend and did not line up correctly. Trying to bend it back caused the aluminum frame to crack and break. A week of upset pliers was all that was left of them.

Since I've bought these pliers a couple of years ago, there have been five different ones. The features on this one are among the best. I especially like the design. Moreover, the line clippers work well with mono and braid. Make yourself an offer and buy them.

I really like this little kit! The fishing reel includes a lot of little additions so that it can handle everything you could need. You don't have to worry about dropping it in the water since it comes with a lanyard. The purpose of this product was to attach to a backpack tackle box pretty much. Not expecting it to last, I didn't hold out much hope. A number of months and many days were spent fishing during that time. This film did a pretty good job of holding up. There has been some stretching in the spring coil line, but that was to be expected. Although it has been rained on and fully submerged in water several times, there has been no corrosion. It is nice to have a needle nose thanks to its thinness. A smaller fish can be handled more easily with a smaller hook. The only time I’ve used it for salt water fishing was fresh water fishing so I don’t know how it would fare in If you are fishing in fresh water, this is a good choice.

Despite the poor ergonomics, the software is quite usable. The pliers have a lock on them, which I didn't think would be desirable but it allowed me to holster them easily and they don't get snagged on random objects. I like how sharp the cutters are. The drills are easy to use for cutting fine braids. The holster would be better if it had been available Having owned this pair for two years, this is my second pair. As a result, the first pair I tried crimped a liter and shifted the pliers permanently, making the cutters inoperable. As a result of shifting, the pliers could no longer close fully. In this case, the crimpers are excellent for closing split shots, but they will not be useful Despite this, I use them daily, and although they are a great value, I will keep purchasing them, but become aware of their limitations once I do.
