My other set had been very satisfactory so I decided to get one more. As these came with a fish gripper, I could also use it on my trip. The pliers are okay, the sheath is a little chintzy, but it will do the job. On the other hand, the fish grippers are pretty bad. In the wrong hands, the lip gripper will creak and making the handles too tight will create a gap big enough for the fish to slip My Kastking cutthroat pliers are among the best products I have used. I have 2 other sets of grippers, but these are the worst. I hope the pliers are at least as good as my other sets.

Great pliers. I really like them. Braided line is easily cut with these tools. It would have been nice if the nose were a bit longer and if the sheath had a lanyard.
