Here are the bottom three up front This is a great pair of fishing pliers for the price. I'll compare them to my Rapala pliers that It seems that my Rapala are becoming dull around the back end where I cut. Despite the fact the ALICE PLUSINNO pliers are replaceable, they probably will last longer since the cutting blades are replaceable every few months. I seem to cut things every time I fish, but they are always by my side. Unlike my Rapala pliers that use Velcro to secure, which becomes weak as time passes, these pliers simply slide into the case and they keep their shape well. A convenient collapsible cord helps keep the case from falling into the water. * As well as a sturdy belt clip, the case can be held securely to the side. Unlike closed cases, they remain open when out of the container, so you do not need to fidget while holding a fish to get them open simply squeeze the handle harder and they will grab anything in their path securely. The new Rapala pliers are a significant upgrade from my old ones. There is always room for improvement, even on fishing pliers. It's a product I'd purchase again in a heartbeat!.

This was an order I placed on Prime Day and received In addition to the molded belt holster and small carabiner, they come with coiled retaining cords and a small loop to hook them onto a belt. Several belt clips can click into several different angles on the holster during rotation. I don't think the pliers will come out of the holster accidentally as they fit quite snugly in the holster (with jaws closed). Besides, I fish from a kayak, and my PFD has a convenient pocket for pliers, so the holster will be useless for me. Holsters like this can be useful for anglers on the bank or in a boat. Despite looking at the pictures, it was clear that the pliers are heavier than I expected. It is made of stainless steel, and the tips pass the magnet test. The handles are aluminum, and feel sturdy and solid in your hand. The pivot in the pliers is smooth, with no sideplay, so the tips remain aligned as you use them. With several different crimping notches, a line cutter, and a tip for opening split rings, this tool is sure to please. My favorite use is to remove the hook on deeply hooked bass when they are deep hooked. During this morning's fishing, none of the fish inhaled the soft plastics, however the length and dimensions of the pliers seemed to make them easily maneuverable and fit well behind the gill plate to unhook them. Hooks should fit snugly into the jaws of the device, so it should be suitable for this purpose. My other primary use for the line cutter is cutting line, and I have been very satisfied with the quality of its performance. Both the 20lb and 10lb braid cut cleanly on the first try. On the 20lb braid, there's a satisfying click sound when it cuts. On the 10lb braid, there's no little click sound but the thread cuts cleanly There was no need to saw the line apart, or chew it apart more than once. In order to test the split ring function on the small ring of an ancient Mooselook Wobbler, I will be storing a line cutter to see how it fared over time. As expected, it worked and there will be only a few thumbnails saved. All in all, I am very pleased with these pliers, and would highly recommend them. This design seems to be well thought out, and I don't see any obvious flaws.

In the Chesapeake Bay, an assortment of fishing pliers has been a staple in my arsenal whenever I have faced toothy fish like blue fish. During the summer, I think I go through a set of pliers every season due to corrosion in my pliers that turns them into rusty paperweights. It is an easy decision to choose these pliers at such a good price.
- I like the feel of it in my hand. Low weight - Construction looks solid, and it looks like the line cutter can be removed and replaced if necessary, as can the main section. There is no information as to whether this is available at Plussino, but this is an added bonus. Using just my hands, I was able to take off my SP Minnow's treble hooks and split rings. Using the same method, I managed to remove hooks from other hard baits as well. All I am concerned about are the pliers' finishes. It is possible for these to lose their black finish over time, particularly after being immersed in saltwater for an extended period. If they are properly taken care of, then these will last as long as they are treated.
