Sadly, when I received mine it was a bit too wide. The width of the bar fully assembled was 50 and 3/4". Those mounting holes are 49” apart, which is incredibly frustrating now that there is a tighter window to hit the outer edges of my mounting studs. I think the Quality Control supervisor must have been on a smoke break at the time of fabrication.
The weight of Max is rumored to be about 400 pounds. The beam is sturdy enough to hold mine.
It measures 48"

No4All is what should be used. A rogue pull has gotten me in trouble $140 was the price of an up bar similar to this one. This product seemed to be a good match for what I was looking for, judging by its Based on the comparable cost, I expected comparable quality, but unfortunately, this is a piece of garbage that I wouldn't trust to hang anything. My hands can bend the bar in my hands just by holding it. Welds are missing, and the metal is too thin for it to stick. The powder coating did not match up to what was All it needs is a fresh coat of black paint. A company that takes advantage of COVID-type programs is clearly in the spotlight Buying fitness equipment at a high price because of a shortage. I understand the need to take advantage of people, but seriously, someone is going to get hurt. The approach is flawed not just because of the substandard construction but also because of the overall design. By supporting the arms from the top, as opposed to the bottom, the load capacity is weakened, as well as the top bolts are subjected to excessive load. Furthermore, there are only two bolts per arm which is much less than the three or four found in comparable products. If you are looking for real products, check out Gronk Fitness, Xmark, or Rep Fitness. You should not buy these overpriced knockoffs from this company.
To start with, this Pull up bar can be found on the Yes4All website for 32 dollars. It's just absurd to pay triple the money for something. The information was not provided to me until after my order had been delivered. Despite my efforts, I still haven't managed to mount it since the hardware it came with wasn't adequate for hanging However, I won't rate the sturdy part until I put it up to see how it performs. As such, I will leave my review here until after I've finished installing the software. So my advice is to pass on buying this and get a similar bar from another company, don't make my mistake!.
**An updated review has been posted. The text follows The rating is 2. In terms of installation, everything went according to plan. During the installation of the bar, I installed 2x8 and 2x6 to run along the wall. Keeping it such would protect the wall from being dug into by the brackets. Powder coatings are like regular paint in that they are coated with powder. Powder coating is not the same as the kind of coating used by Rogue, Titan and other manufacturers. As opposed to real powder coatings, this coating is not sticky like it would be. As you can see, the cuts in the locking mechanism on the bar are deep, so the bar is very aggressive, even with the paint. In this case, it would not be feasible to pull where the knerling lies. After using a bar where knerlings are not provided, I ended up switching bars. Couldn't comment on the hardware strength since it appeared as if the threads didn't exist. The big box store sold Spax Outdoor lag bolts and stainless steel washers, so I bought those at the time. Bars of this type tend to have good overall strength. This is a sturdy machine that can comfortably handle me and my 260 pounds. The overall impression of this bar would be very negative, and I would rather spend two times the price on a real powder coated item. My reason for not buying the Pull Up Bar was shipping to Hawaii would have been very expensive, and a similar bar would probably The other option would be to add tape to the knerling or replace the bar with a The hardware store carries uncoated 25-inch stainless steel bars. Additionally, you should spray some oil or WD40 inside the metal contact areas of the bar and inside the tubing to inhibit rust if the bar is to be mounted outdoors.
Originally reviewed just received the pull-up bar. It hasn't been wall mounted yet, but I wanted to mention what I think about the build of the pull up bar so far. There are no missing spots of weld or blowouts on the welds (seems to be no missing welds). As a result of using my calipers, I measured the steel About 12 gauge is 100 inches thick, which is about 12 inches The thickness of the paint is also included in this measurement. So far, everything seems to be going well except for one end cap left to do. It would be nice if a replacement could be sent. When I've used the bar for at least a week, I'll update the review.
I really liked working out with this bar, and I think it will be perfect for at-home workouts. It has some light knurls on it that I didn't expect from the pictures, but this provides Finding someone to install it to the side of my house was quite a challenge, but once it was installed, it feels very is great on the outermost setting so I am able to do pullups and the butterfly in the outermost setting without an issue, and I am 6'4" tall. I found this to be a great product for half the price of Rogue.
Here's an update. My package was severely damaged, everything must have fallen out during transit, or maybe it was never sent. I found the two rubber end caps. . . though the blades have four rough edges. There was no bolt, no instructions, just one rubber cap. It didn't impress me in the slightest. That's too bad.
[Update]
I got the C. The package includes all the mounting hardware to mount your chin up bar securely in place in seconds. This version is 500 lb heavy duty. I ended up with a hardened 8 A mounting kit includes 3"x3/8" lag screws and eight 8-32 head screws A 3/8 inch locking washer, and two 2 inch washers Secure the bar with 5"x3/8" bolts from the hardware store ($10 or so). The studs in the garage are screwed straight into the board. I'm pleased with this product, it works as advertised, and it doesn't move an inch. It seems that their customer service did not respond to the email I sent 8 days ago (but responded to this review oddly enough). Many have said the bolts they send are not good anyway, so even if I had bought my own, I probably would have been fine. You are going to have a good experience.
I would highly recommend this pull-up bar! My weight of 230 pounds prompted me to drill four additional holes in the concrete to allow a better mount. I threw away these 4 screws from the box as soon as I got them. As an anchor, I found 3/8 3in long heavy duty concrete/brick screws to be ideal. Now, the table fits 3 people comfortably at once (like me), so there's no doubt that it can accommodate all 8 people at once. I really liked its multi grip feature, which allowed me to do a whole lot of different exercises for different muscle groups. This was the best choice I was able to make between this one and another brand which was much more costly. I ended up choosing this one, and I am glad I did!.
This is a great product but do not use the anchors when hanging it directly from struts. There are no mounting instructions provided with the product, and I made the mistake of believing the manufacturer knew what they were doing. The screws should be drilled directly into studs when they are installed into studs.
