Questions & Answers

Is the product covered by a warranty?

Hello Arnold, We are pleased to provide a Lifetime Warranty on all of our products. Our goal is to provide our customers with an exceptional customer experience as well as tremendous value.

Is this suitable for someone who has never done a single pull-up or chin-up?

Hello. It is, in fact, of great assistance. However, it will not complete the task for you. If you can barely complete one, you should seek help. Also, I believe it is for people weighing up to 200 pounds. I couldn't even complete one pull-up. And with help, after a couple of weeks, I'll be able to do three.

I received my bands, but there was no information on how to obtain the workout ebook. What is the source of this information?

I was also unable to obtain the ebook. Is it possible to resend this email? In November of 2017, I bought mine.

Will the strap fit a bar that is extra wide and square in shape?

The strap is quite wide, so it should be able to attach to just about anything you can get your hands on. Mine still has plenty of space.

Wow, a pull-up after all these years! I'm 6'4 and 220 pounds, and I've been working out with T25 since 2014
5/5

Before joining Body Beast, I couldn't even do a pull up. I could do chin ups but not a single pull up. I just got these bands today and attached them to my bar at the lowest setting and bam! I was able to complete ten of them in a short amount of time. I believe it took around 70-80 minutes. I dropped 100 pounds from my non-assisted pull-up. Wow! You're still working, and you're aware of it. Now I'm able to keep up with Body Beast's back and bis disc.

So far, everything has gone well! I've been doing P90X3 for a while now, and I've never been able to do a pull up in my life! I decided to try bands after using a chair to help me with my pullups
4/5

I like how easy it is to adjust the resistance level and how easy it is to unhook it from the bar with the quick snap connection. This appears to be a very well-made product. I'm a little worried about the plastic snap connector, but it feels thick and heavy duty, so I'm hoping it will hold up over time. br>br>Anyway, here's my life story: I'm a man who stands 5'11 and weighs 215 pounds. I was using the chair assist during my first run of P90X3, but after a while, I realized I was using my leg to assist my pullups far more than I should have been. I started P90X3 with 0 unassisted pullups and finished with 0 unassisted pullups after 90 days, and I believe the chair made cheating too easy. br>br>After trying these bands, I am confident that after this second full round, I will be able to do at least one full unassisted pull up. As I get better at doing reps, I'll lower the resistance until I can hopefully wean myself off the bands and do at least one or more completely unassisted pull ups. br>br>Funny enough, the bands have made it so enjoyable that I now find myself walking by the pull up bar on my off days, putting my foot in, and doing a few reps. Pullups have become more enjoyable for me as a result of a small $35 investment.

I'm able to keep going by modifying my pull-ups
5/5

I'll be 78 in the fall and have always been a very fit and healthy athlete. After five abdominal surgeries over the course of 50 years, I finally decided it was time to stop doing full body weight pull ups due to the pressure felt in my abdominal wall while doing pull ups. The Pull Up Assist Band System has allowed me to keep doing pull ups in my strength training regimen without the fear of sustaining another "blowout" and subsequent surgery.

The design is simple
5/5

This device is simple and easy to use, as evidenced by the "competitors" model in the product photos that snapped apart. I have a lat pull down bar that I use a carabiner and chain to attach to my garage crossbeam. I then use another carabiner to secure this device. On my own, I couldn't do a single pull-up. With this device properly adjusted, I can now do five assisted pull ups. BTW: I weigh 185 pounds and stand 5' 11" tall. FYI: Pull-ups (palms facing you) are the only way to go.

Excellent for rehabilitating an ankle injury
5/5

This is something I really enjoy. I'm 44 years old and still can't do a full set of pull-ups without help. I can almost do one, but I wanted something that would allow me to gradually improve my strength and form so that I could do more. My ankle was recently shattered, and all I can do now is work on my upper body. I've secured it to my iron gym bar, and I roll my knee scooter underneath it before standing on my knee and inserting my good foot into the loop. When I'm finished, I brace myself against the scooter's knee pad and slowly work my way out of the loop with my good foot. A word of caution: if you're injured like me, take care. When used incorrectly, the loop has the potential to spin you around and knock you into the doorframe.

Larger people will not be able to use it
3/5

Do not purchase if you weigh more than 200 pounds. This cable also comes in a 200-pound version, which may be more suitable. The issue is that even at maximum tension (shortest length, all three cables attached), there isn't enough lift to lift a 200-pound man to the bar unless he can already do a pull-up. The stated 135-pound lift is only in its most stretched position. It appears that there is a nonlinear drop-off. As you get closer to the top, the tension increases (it should be linear, as it is a type of spring), and you're pretty much on your own for the final 6-foot stretch. The movement is 8 inches long. It's not much use to me if it can't get me up to the maximum setting on the bar. If you weigh less than 160 pounds, however, it's probably ideal for you.

Great company and product! Full- the truth- I've only had the product for a week, but I intend to provide an update when I have more information
5/5

br>br>When I use this, my first reaction is one of joy. It's precisely what I had hoped for- something that would assist me in making chin-length chin-length chin chin chin chin chin chin chin chin chin chin Make pull-ups easier, but not so easy that I don't gain the strength I require. I'm 5'6" and weigh 170 pounds, and I can only do one chin-up without help. I usually had a chair set aside for doing more (or doing pull-ups in full). ups) but I felt like I was relying too much on the chair. I was able to do three chin-ups right away with this assist band. I'm very happy with it. We, too, don't find it awkward. br>br>As for the business, Intent Sports has been responsive and has gone above and beyond what I would expect from an online retailer.

The most effective pull- Congratulations on your success, band! I started with the red band and was able to do pull-ups with it
5/5

chin-ups at the highest level of resistance; However, at 5'2" and 107 pounds, I didn't feel like the band was pulling me up very much (which means I wouldn't have been able to lower the resistance because the band would have been too long at lower resistance settings). So, I tried the blue band, and it works great for me because it provides more support; however, it appears that the red band works better for people who are around 5'9" / 167 lbs - I believe this is due to the fact that the red band stretches a little further than the blue band, providing more lift.
