My birthdate is 7 and I was unable to wear it. Having sent it back was not an option for me. Anyone with knowledge of a product that works is welcome to share the There is something I am looking for. The frame of my door is 7" high, and I have a trim height of 5". A third factor to consider is that there are some bars that are designed to fit a 7" but only a 3". A trim height of 5".
My feet touch the ground as I am six feet four inches high. Depending on how tall your door frame is, you may need to raise the door. In general, arm length is around 1/2 your height, which means you aren't going to be able to do much unless you have a 9' doorframe. We will use the same style of pull-up bar for all of our pull up stations. However, this is the best one I've used since it gives me several inches of extra height above the frame, so it is highly recommended. If you bend at the knees, you are getting an extra hamstring workout.
The answer is yes. Consequently, I end up a bit wider or a bit narrower than I would like. The only minor issue is my hands are at the spacing I'd like them so I may not be perfectly comfortable. Even though it has a variety of positions, including sidehanded on the support bars that also have a grip area, it's really quite versatile.
There are over 36 inches in length end-to-end on the upper bar. You will need about 33" of hand space to the center of your grip for the widest hand spacing.

My only complaint is that I waited far too long to get this. I wish I would have bought it sooner. As a regular pull up bar, doorway pullup bars usually cost about $20, so I was hesitant about paying this price. There is no doubt that this one will be The reason for this is as follows. Here's what I want you to know - first There are all possible grip positions for pulling ups. With its wide, close and neutral grip, it is comfortable to hold. It is almost worth the price of the package just on the basis of their inclusion. This has a lot to do with the height of the bars, which makes it different from other With the system, I can do pull-ups and chin-ups at full extension, which isn't something you can do with most at At my last apartment I had a Bowflex body tower because I had a large, open loft. However, it was useless, and I have no regrets about buying it. My roommate and I didn't find it to be high enough to do pull ups comfortably, and just the positioning of everything and the wobbling of the machine made it a nightmare for us. I am 6', my roommate is 5'8" and the dress was too short for us both. He never used it, so it just sat there. It was at the dip station that we used it. Despite that, it didn't meet my expectations. Honestly, this is what I have bee looking for my whole life in a home pull up bar. As a result of the placement of the bar so high and away from the doorway, it actually seems easier to do pull ups. A bowflex body tower or a regular doorway bar won't give you the complete range of motion you receive with a doorway bar. In my apartment, I have three doorways that are in this small, funky hallway, none of which offer much room on the sides. I was hesitant to purchase it considering how many doorways I have in this little hallway. It was a little confusing to figure out if it was going to You can see an example of what I mean in the photo below. In the event that your doorway is wider, you can extend the length of the arches if you need to. It is a good value for the money overall. Over the last two days, I have already done more pull-ups than in the past two months combined.
It is a great pull up bar, in my opinion. I like having it stick out farther from the doorway so you have more room to work out when doing exercises because it appears to be of better quality and more durable than what I previously owned. I have run into one problem with it, although it isn't a particularly big issue, which is that the padding that comes into contact with the door frame isn't very thick or durable. There was a bit of damage to my doorframe (something that could probably be fixed with a coat of paint), but it was still disappointing to me. Padding is thin, so it will collapse when pressed against the door frame to the point that the bar touches the frame just after it is pressed. To help with this, I purchased grip tape, which is used for things such as tennis rackets, on the ends to reinforce the padding, as well as some foam tape to help with the problems. Additionally, I do not leave the bar in the door frame when it's not in use, which is inconvenient but I feel this is a contributing factor. There were cracks in both the frame and padding as a result of the padding bonding with the paint on the door frame. (The padding was partially torn where it fused to the paint. ) Prior to this, my bar had thicker padding that would not stick to my hands or wear out as easily. Although this one setback is a bit of a downer, I still recommend the bar, just watch out for this potential issue.
This appeared to be a sturdy and well-built device A first glance indicates that these metal bars are parallel to each other, but the holes are not parallel at all. Due to incorrect bolt placement, the bolts sit at odd angles, making assembling and using the device difficult I was disappointed with the craftsmanship of a product of this price.
I can't get it to fit my doorframe, however. It appears that the bar allows only 5 inches of space to accommodate a door width of approximately 6 inches on my doorframe. The reviews indicate that it fits up to six, but the site says it fits up to eight. It is 75 inches long. You can even find a review of a guy who had a picture showing that the door bar fit his 8-inch door width! As a result, I am wondering if the bar I received a is defective in the first place. This was the first time that I disassembled or reassembled it The bar seems to be able to support/fit into only five inches of space, so I assembled it hoping that it would work. Here are some pictures you can see. Since the 23rd of July when I placed my order, I have waited for it. Now that it's been almost two months since my bar was delivered, I am still not able to use it. *br*br*br*(UPDATE *br*br*br) Five of ten In my last contact with support, I finally received the hardware today, but the following "required" remain unfilled I would like to introduce Allen Bolt It is a missed opportunity for them to be careful when packing all the pieces that they need when they missed the hardware all together and had to ship the hardware separately. My pull-up has been waiting for in excess of a month since I paid for it There's still a knuckle bar to assemble and I haven't done it yet! In the original As soon as I saw the elevated bar, I was very excited. In any case, only the parts came with the product. The package does not include any hardware. Three cheers for me I was disappointed to find out it was not there!.
You'll be better off avoiding this poorly manufactured product. Had I not already thrown away the box, this piece of junk would have been on its way back to Amazon. A straight beam has holes drilled at different angles on the "s" shaped pieces, and the holes on the "s" shaped pieces are different sizes. Despite the drill being used to expand the holes in order to accommodate the bolts, it seems as though the entire apparatus sits out of whack That's a really ridiculous and unsafe thing to do. The idea is great, but some one has to actually create one that This thing is to be avoided. You don't need to waste The only way I could give this a zero star review is by not rating it.
Like most pull-up bars, I do not expect them to loosen over time. Nuts and bolts seem securely fastened, so I do not think they will loosen over time like most. Should it do so, I will update this review. However, the price at 60$ is a little steep to me, for that reason I docked one.
