During installation, two metal tabs are slid behind the door frame so you can hook it onto the If the wall is made of wood or plasterboard, then any wood door frame will work. After you're finished, you can pull the tabs out and there will be no visible evidence of your work. You should be able to put this in an apartment without any issues with lease terms. But there needs to be a little wiggle room between the door frame and the If you have a metal door frame on a concrete block wall (thinking of my old college dormitory here), for example, it would not work. In regards to screwing in something Not a screw in sight.
While I know this is a little late, I box and own my own punching bag, so I'd like to offer my I would appreciate if you did not do it. As soon as that bag starts swinging, it's going to fall. Furthermore, a doorway isn't a very safe or effective place to practice. I made two punching bag stands out of cheap 2x4's since my apartment won't allow me to hang a punching bag.
There's no need to screw anything in
There is a metal part to it. Attached to the curved ones is a straight bar that goes on the door frame and keeps it in place.

My experience with this product has been bad, with one of the most useless assembly instructions I've ever seen. I have attached some photos for your review. Upon inspection of the box, it does not appear that the listed parts are those that are in it. The bolts are too short to fit through to attach the pieces in. I am definitely beginning to doubt the overwhelmingly positive Amazon reviews when purchasing products in the future. No, I will not be purchasing this product and I will not suggest it to anyone.
It kinda works. I hope it won't break the trim on my door jamb since you can see how it doesn't quite fit right.
The truth is, I expected more from this product.
Installation was not difficult, but it did not turn out to be effortless There was an issue with the parts fitting flush, since the holes for the screws were not punched well enough (at least for the product I ordered). In addition, there's the metal bracket you mentioned earlier This is attached to one's door, preventing the bar from sliding if one wants to stop it from sliding - My doorframe literally snapped when I was trying to push it into the The ricochet almost blinded my dog due to 1) my ability to snap metal with my bare hands and 2) the fact that I could snap metal with my bare hands. However, I have used it for the last few months, and it has remained on (despite not having the metal bracket) and I have not broken any other parts. This is a three and a half star movie.
As a result of the parts not fitting as they should and the overall build not feeling as solid as other brands I have used before, the assembly process was difficult. In this situation, the bar works fine, but since the finish on it is poor, I am pretty sure it won't last very In the event that I needed to buy another one, there would definitely be other brands that I would consider and this one would certainly be the last.
For the nut to screw on, there is about 1cm of thread sticking out at the end of the bolts. As a result, the product became completely useless when two-fourths of the bolts of the carriage broke off during assembly. A trip to the hardware store and about $5 will be needed to replace all the hardware. Whenever you get something assembled, I wouldn't trust the bolts not to come loose. Even if you do, I wouldn't rely on them not to lose their grip while using it.
Greetings, my name is Paul and I am an 18-year-old guy who works and goes Because I do not have time to go to the gym, I did not really want to pay for a gym membership. Since I've been doing research about the calisthenics, I really like the idea of using my body weight as resistance. It is the pull-up bar that I was looking for as my first piece of equipment. My honest opinion is that it ought to cost somewhere between $10 and $15. As a matter of fact, in my opinion it should cost about $15-$20. There are $15 more dollars in it than there are! There was no issue with my package, and it came on time. A pull up bar like this is just what I need to get my workout in when I need to. You guys and girls would benefit greatly from this pull up bar, so I highly recommend it. I'd like to thank Amazon for the great packing and ProSource for the great product. I would definitely consider doing business again with you, Gus!.
You could leave marks on your door frame if you use hard plastic caps. This grip is very comfortable to hold. The pull-out tray is ready to use once assembled Despite being sturdy, the up bar puts a good deal of strain on the door frame. the user's weight causes something to break, it will most likely be the beam and not the timber casing. The movement where the two halves of the bar snap together isn't to everyone's liking. In those cases, I wrapped enough electrical tape around the inner and outer tubes to just barely fit, and that stopped any movement or noise. In those cases, I take a half-start off for the hard plastic ends that rest on the door casing and may Wrapping them with black duct tape over a 1/4-inch thick sheet of dense foam was the proper method. There is virtually no trace of it, and it works quite well.
I was reluctant to spend much on such a piece of equipment The up bar was not an important factor to me since I wasn't certain I would For less than $20, I got it with free shipping from Amazon Prime. Even if you pay more, I can't see the value being much better than what is offered at the current price I am - A door design like this is appealing. The screws, drills, etc. do not need to be installed. There is only one thing I do not like about it--you have to remove it in order There is an easy way to remove it, though. If you close the door, you can close doorway bars. 3) But those don't have vertical bars.
