If you put the plank on the ground, you can do crunches on it. You're likely to get a more effective ab workout by hanging on to the bar and doing leg raises.
For a better understanding of how this works, take a look at all the images (and the audio/video gimmick) to the left of the main image. Reviewer "swyzlstyx" feels the following about the product If you have a five-foot door, you'll want it to be between 5 and 7 feet wide. A thicker sheet of paper is about 5-6 inches thick. One reviewer says that the length of the long bar is just under 37", so I assume there is space for that much on the non-permanent side of the long bar On the door side, the frame cannot be greater than 36" wide, and cannot be greater than 18".
This was an issue in my previous apartment, as someone else discussed above, I had a black line from the rubber above the frame and in the door frame where the bar was located, it can be removed with a magical eraser cleaning product (a plain old pencil eraser can also be used). On the upper right corner of the wall, where the door was, there were also some cracks beginning to appear. I'm not sure whether this was because of the bar (I assumed so). As a matter of fact, this was a very poorly built apartment, with paper thin drywall.

Having purchased this in August of 2015, it has proved to be a good investment. I found assembly to be straightforward. It took me less than 30 minutes if my memory serves me right. In addition to pull ups and chin ups, I do not use it for any other purpose You probably won't get a lot of sit-ups from it, but you'll certainly get some pushups In regards to dips, I question how effective they would be since it seems to be a bit too low for a dip to be effective. This chair has held up well under my weight (145 lbs) and has not bent or sagged. A couple of concerns I have are the padding along the bar where it meets the door frame is a bit thin. The frame of my door is damaged now. If you are worried about the doorframe and the bar, I recommend placing a sock between them to provide more The flat piece that fits against the wall above the doorframe could discolor your wall, which is another complaint I have. The wall caused this in my case, so I recommend placing something in between the wall and the flat plastic part as a preventative measure. Apart from that, it is a well-built product that delivers what it promises.
The company's nbsp Across the street from the iron gym, I live. Iron Gym is the best way to build confidence before you embarrass yourself in the gym with bad form and weak pull ups. You can grind it out in your home and watch your body improve as you get stronger. There are no hidden fees, and its prices are affordable and stable. With 205 lbs of weight I can use it with no problem! My first task was to do maybe two pull-ups. After practicing, I'm now able to do twenty pull-ups per There is no reason why you shouldn't be able to do it, either!.
During the last three years it has worked perfectly. My knee cap split in half when the bar slipped off the doorframe while I was doing pullups (I was using it correctly and I only weigh 177 lbs). A few days ago I had to undergo surgery (I don't know how much it cost, probably well over ten thousand), and I'll need about six months to recover. It should be thrown in the trash immediately if you have it.
Besides, I can always have extra rolls of toilet paper on the pull up bar in case I run out. * * *Perfect.
This is the case. The one I have has been used only intermittently since it was purchased in November. During the explosion, the plastic inside the tip broke, and the tip fell to the ground. This caused injuries to the head and knee. Rather than plastic, it should be Using it with extreme caution is highly recommended. My money will be returned or returned to me if I can get it back.
My door is not compatible with it and I won't be able to use it. 1" thick /4 is the thickness of the molding above my doors. We have too high a ceiling of 25" - A smaller molding product appears to be intended for this product. In order for the horizontal bar to rest on top of the molding, it must be at the top As a result, it will not stay up when you're pulling on it (although your weight will mostly be directed into the door frame, there will still be a downward force, which is absorbed by the moulding above the door). In the photo you can see how the unit hangs, and I'm about 10 feet away. There is a 25" gap between the two. It's so sad. Only 0 is shown at the top of the bar. I doubt there's enough offset for decorative molding, which would likely get crushed, with 75". As far as I know, the size restrictions are neither stated on Amazon's website nor in the product manual, which I read before unpacking the product this is clearly a vendor error. There is a molding size restriction of 3 on other products from this vendor. This is 5. Message

Update This vendor contacted me with a solution that I found 100% satisfactory I'm boosting my rating accordingly. The service you provide to your customers.
The materials that were used to build the product were terrible. If you can't properly assemble the actual product, then it's useless, even if the product itself is great. In the assembly of what should be the simplest part, there are wrong parts. This may be related to not being able to properly tighten the bolts. The wall protecting plastic bar is made from a poor material in which the bolts easily stripped the plastic when it was even loosely tightened. However, I do not have those) so I can't replace the bolt during assembly. This leaves me with a loose dangling arm, which means that I cannot use this product. I would suggest that Iron Gym switch out certain assembly parts for more logical and durable ones. I am very disappointed since I was looking forward to using this, and now I can't even return it.
