On the first rep, I was unable to complete the exercise. When I was lying down and only pressing the bar, my hamstring snapped the end of the bench. br>br>There is no support behind the bench's top or bottom, and even a light load would break some unsupported particle board, as well as all around the edges underneath - One middle bar serves as a support. br>br>It's game over if you lose 600 pounds on the top, bottom, or sides of this bench. What happens if you lose your balance and the bench's side snaps? br>br>The rest of the bench is of excellent quality, but the most important component is wobbly.
Overall, for the price, I'm pleased with this bench. Excellent value for money. Is a hard worker who knows what she's doing. Durable and light enough to move around the gym with ease. It comes in four pieces and includes tools, but a 17mm deep socket makes it easier. It arrived quickly, complete with all of the necessary parts, and was extremely simple to put together. Some minor scratches on the legs due to shifting and loose packaging during delivery. I wouldn't recommend this bench for commercial use; people who weigh more than 250 pounds or who bench more than 300 pounds on a regular basis should invest in a commercial-grade bench. This bench is a great buy for most home gyms. I didn't give it five stars because I would have preferred a slightly wider bench. At 10. It carries the load well enough at 5" wide, but people with broad shoulders might prefer an 11-inch wide bench. The 10" is 12" wide. The 5" width does give you a lot of range of motion in the press, which is great for people with average to narrow shoulders. In general, a bench is a great buy.
The unit is simple to put together. br>It is light in weight. br>It's suitable for use in a home gym. br>I wouldn't use it for powerlifting. br>If you sit on the edge, you'll fall over if you're heavier than 40 pounds. Second, it's already rusting, despite being kept in a climate-controlled environment. br>br>Save your money and invest in a more expensive bench. br>If you're looking to bench more than 315 pounds, this product isn't for you. br>Disappointed with the flimsy bracketing system and sparse hex bolts, which have already come loose after only three uses.
I scraped my elbow against the floor. My back, I believe, is still hurting a month later from that fall while holding a 30 pound dumbell. It's flimsy and too thin. It's not big and it's not tall. Purchase a new one that is WIDER. It's also WAY TOO HIGH, making any exercise difficult.
This one is the perfect size for my office and makes it easier for me to complete my weight-lifting exercises. An aside: I had to use my own wrenches to put it together because the tools they provided were useless. Aside from that, it took me about 15 minutes to put together.
This bench is fantastic. With a good firm pad, it's nice and sturdy. It was simple to put together, though there were a few paint flaws that I didn't mind.
This bench's set-up appeals to me - Only time will tell how well it holds up to dumbbell workouts, but my initial impressions are that it will be very effective.
It was relatively simple to put together.
