Thanks for posting these. I really liked reading them. I wasn't convinced by the reviews of the bench as a workout bench, but I was sold by the reviews of the bed as a guest bed. This is the perfect situation for my mIL, because she wants to move in with us! In the mean time, I am going to put a sleeping bag on it since sheets won't be readily available. It won't be a problem for her and I am sure that she will like it very much!

This Marcy Flat Bench SB-I was ordered from Amazon I ordered the 315 from Amazon more than a month ago, and it is still sitting partially assembled in the box in my hallway. While I was assembling the bench, I found that one of the support feet was misshapen. The nut comes out well beyond the end of the bolt, causing the bolt to stick out of the top of the stabilizing foot. In the event of accidental stepping on this, it would be extremely painful. On the other hand, isn't it just too much to ask that all parts of this thing be correct? If not, isn't it just better to work as a team? Marcy's number was in my contacts list again and I contacted her.
