No more than 4 stars, in my opinion. I'd have to get out a measuring tape if the distance was less than 5".
It's vinyl, and it's a good bench. I'm 290 pounds and use 75-pound dumbbells for circuit training, and it's been holding up well for almost a year. Use it for about 4 minutes. Every week, five times
I would recommend it to a friend without hesitation. However, despite its low price, it is of high quality.
This is a very simple design. There is no need for any tools. The bench and legs are already assembled; all that is required is the application of the sponges.

There is no sagging or wobbling on the bench. The padding is thin and firm; this isn't the most comfortable bench I've ever used, and I'd prefer something with more padding if I used it more than two or three times per week. It also sits quite low, which takes a little getting used to. I purchased this bench because of the folding feature, and it folds up nicely and stores easily in a closet. The frame even has a built-in handle. The length of this folding bench appeals to me more than the length of most other folding benches. One point to keep in mind: To fold the bench, remove a bolt from one of the legs, fold the leg down, and then reinsert the bolt in a different position to secure the folded leg. Although the bolts are short and have plastic knobs, making this relatively painless (see photo), and there is only one bolt per leg, it is not as quick and easy as a locking pin. The bench is light and compact enough to move around without having to fold it up.
This bench was a good value for money. Advantages: br>br> br>It's cost-effective. br>br>Fairly light (I have a wrap upper body that I can move around with). br>br>Perhaps the most significant? It arrived completely assembled to me. It was only a matter of sticking the legs on. br>br>Cons: br>br>It's a bit of a squeeze. I'm a wide girl, so when I lay on it, I feel like I'll tip over in either direction if I move at all. br>br>Not level. I'm not sure if it's just me, but it's not very evenly distributed. I can tell it wobbles even on carpeted floors. br>br>Locking is ineffective; however, the foldable legs and ankle brace area were an advantage of this bench over others. Both parts are supposed to be foldable, in the sense that you fold it and then secure it with a screw with a large handle part. However, the holes in the ankle part were not aligned correctly, and the handle on the legs is sandwiched between two steel parts and does not fit. As a result, you'll be able to get a good grip on it. So, if you "lock" the legs in place and shake the bench, you'll be able to see, hear, and feel the legs wobble around. br>br>It's up to you whether you want to pay less for a less-than-perfect bench or pay a little more for a perfect one.
This works great because I am limited in what I am allowed to do in order to avoid further injury to my back. I've read other reviews that say it's narrow; I'm not sure why, but I'm a pretty big guy myself, and it works just fine for me.
I opened the package and set it up right away because it arrived so quickly. The bench is a little narrower than I'm used to, so when I leaned against it to do a sit-up, it toppled over and I fell off. . . I was expecting it to be a little more sturdy. I'm still able to use it, but I have to be extremely cautious. It'll suffice for your most basic arm exercises if you use it as a straight bench.
For the money, it's a good, solid bench. I believe that if you have a good workout routine, this bench will suffice. Because my daughter is only a few months old, this bench allows me to squeeze in a few workouts in between her naps. Purchasing a great deal.
The bench is of good quality. The adjustment clip is the only thing I don't like about it. If it were a spring release or a clip, like at the gyms, instead of a screw on knob. Overall, it's a solid piece of equipment.
It's a nice product that I bought for my husband to use for weight lifting. It's fine, but it wobbles slightly left and right, possibly due to the carpet.
) It appears to be more attractive than I had anticipated. It appears to be in good condition. Folding is a breeze. This purchase has exceeded my expectations.
