Questions & Answers

Is it okay to do step-ups with this?

Nop. For that purpose, the dors aren't even up to the floor. it folds in percentage percentage percentage

Is this heavy enough for me to do hip thrusts without losing my footing? I'm 110 pounds, right?

If you're dressed properly, you shouldn't have any issues. Perspiration and the clothing you wear both have an impact on whether or not you slide. It can also make a difference if you cross your pelvis with a heavy bar. However, no one has ever slipped while performing thrusts.

BUYING RULES: BUYING RULES RULES I fell to the ground when it broke the first time I used it
3/5

(I'm a 200-pound woman. ) I'm not a handyman, but the welding job on this bench appears to be a complete failure. I sat on it after safely setting it up, and the leg (shown) snapped off almost instantly. I'm 200 pounds, so I don't believe it's a question of overloading. It's just a disaster in terms of production. Clearly, the high demand for exercise equipment during COVID has allowed this seller to reduce costs and produce dangerously inadequate products.

Problem - The leg of the bench had given way
3/5

A bench leg collapsed below where my head had been after a set of dumbbell bench presses. The metal support structure for the bench legs sheared off. If my leg had collapsed during the set, the results could have been disastrous for me. My head was directly above the point at which the leg gave way. With the exercise, the total weight on the bench was around 330 pounds. The bench has a 1000-pound weight limit listed on it.

It's not perfect, but it's not bad either
4/5

This item isn't bad at all. I bought it because I live in a small apartment and don't have enough space to store a regular bench. It's about 8" deep when the legs are folded down, making it easy to store. When you first touch the bench, it feels a little shaky, but once you put your weight on it and start working out, it becomes very stable. When I'm actively engaged and working out, it doesn't wobble at all. It feels nice and sturdy, and I mostly use it for dumbbell bench press and dumbbell rows. I'll point out that the foam and fake leather-like covering feel cheap, but only time will tell how well they hold up. Apart from that, everything is fine with me. I didn't have much of a choice because I couldn't find anything else that folded up like this.

Although it is well constructed, it is not at all level
3/5

Pros: Cons: br>Solid/sturdybr>Comfortablebr>br>br> br>NOT LEVELbr>br>I just got the box today and opened it. The bench folds up easily and is sturdy, but it isn't even close to being flat. Returning in the hopes of receiving a better unit.

- Edit- A star has been added for outstanding customer service.

The best foldable flat bench on the market at a very reasonable price
5/5

This bench has made me very happy. It has a solid and well-made feel to it. All of the welds appear to be in good working order. It comes completely assembled and folds and unfolds with ease. If you need it to fit in a closet or under a bed, this is the bag for you. The cushion is extremely thick and plush. It is 18 inches long. The distance between the floor and the top of the cushion is 5 inches. I also considered the Powerblock travel bench, but it was too low and narrow for my liking. This is also, in my opinion, a significant improvement over the Marcy SB- If you're looking for a foldable bench, this is the one to get.

WARNING: AN EXTREMELY SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE
3/5

This is a follow-up to my previous assessment: br>br>I'd had it for a few months (purchased on 11/21/21; Around 3/7/21, it went down. The leg is held in place by a welded-on piece (i. e. It's stable because of this). I didn't use the bench in any unusual ways or rough it up in any way. That was a completely unexpected break. I've since discovered that a number of other reviewers had the same problem. It's a piece that's been welded badly. It's also crucial for the sake of safety. The bench would collapse if it didn't have it, but I still use it because I don't have a choice if I want to work out right now. But I'm taking it slowly and carefully, and it could still collapse and injure me. As you can see from my first review, I think it's a good bench. I still do, with the exception of that one piece (there are two of them; a pair for each leg One is still active, but I'm no longer confident in it. As a precaution, I'm reducing the rating from 5 to 1. I hate doing it, but it's the only way to keep myself safe on that bench.

- br>Here's what I thought at first: br>br>It's not what I should have bought, but it'll do for now. br>br>Here are some highs, lows, and mids: It's a simple bench. br>br> It fulfills the function of a standard bench. I was just getting started with Body Beast and hadn't given it much thought. I should've purchased an adjustable bench with a back that lifts up. But that was due to my poor planning, and I'm not going to deduct any points for it. I also needed something that didn't sit too high because I use it as a step stool. Here are some of the advantages and disadvantages that I've discovered: Advantages: br>br>
- Strong enough for the vast majority of applications (for more information, see the first Con below).
- a good step-up height ups.
- The cushion/pad has a firm feel to it.
- The vinyl finish appears to be long-lasting. I can jump on it with my shoes on or put heavy weights on it, and it still looks great after two weeks. br>- It didn't have the noxious, Chinese factory offgassing odor that so many products nowadays have.
- While I'm working out, Cat enjoys laying on it. I'm not sure whether this is a benefit or a disadvantage. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product.
- There could be a safety issue here. If you're doing step-by-step, it's not as stable as it could be, and it's not as stable as I'd like it to be. If you're doing push-ups and get tired, miss your mark a little, and step on the edge with your foot, you could take a serious tumble and injure yourself. I hope this never happens to anyone, but it certainly could if you're on the verge of something.
- It makes a mark on the wall. After the workout, I lean it against a wall. Because it's more stable, I put the pad against the wall. The pad marks the wall with black marks.
- Where the legs fold in, the coating on the legs is peeling away. Only at the point where the legs and body frame meet. This is by design, but it appears that if tolerances were paid more attention during the design phase, this would not have happened. Even so, it's such a minor detail that it's unimportant. I just wanted to bring it up. If you're looking for a basic bench, this one will suffice. I can't think of a single reason why I shouldn't give it five stars.

I just received it! Okay, I just got my Faber Form / Finer Form workout bench, and I have to say, I'm a little worried
3/5

I've included some images to demonstrate my concerns. I'm not comfortable with the welding, and it doesn't appear to be safe. It does, however, feel sturdy and firm when you sit on it. The folding of the bench was not a problem for me. I'm hoping it meets my expectations. The only way to find out is to wait. In a few weeks, I'll post an update to this review.

This is exactly what I needed - it's small and compact
5/5

I don't have space for a traditional bench, and I only need it out and available a few times a week, so this is ideal. It appears to be very stable, and I have no concerns about using it. br>br>The legs are held in place by locking pins when extended and folded. br>I was looking at a similar competitive item, but it had strange feet on the legs, which made me nervous. The feet on this one are covered in plastic, which gives it a more secure appearance. br>br>Overall, I'd say it's a good choice.
